Three nights before Hearth's Warming Day, ponies all around Equestria are settling in. The air is clear, the temperature not so biting, and for once, Ponyville might have an orderly holiday season.
Nature, of course, is not so agreeable.
In the aftermath of a powerful earthquake, cities are destroyed, livelihoods ruined, and spirits bleak. Seeking to bring some smiles back to the general populace, Pinkie Pie and Rarity offer to host a charity dinner party to help raise funds for the youth of Manehattan, the hardest-hit city of them all. But when they begin emulating two Hearth's Warming legends, the former bearers of Laughter and Generosity will discover far more than they expected in the ruined city...
