I see you`re going for drama angle..
The problem is, drama is kind of particularly dependent on author not sucking to actually be tolerable. Some other genres like slice or life or comedy may allow you more leeway, but drama doesn`t.
1) All of those chapters could be comfortably aggregated into a single one. There is no point in splitting text into so many little chunks.
2) Detail. Get some. Then get some more. You`ll need it. You`re not eloquent enough to pull off bare bones story yet.
3) Common sense. Get more. Even clearly irrational characters have some kind of sense they adhere to, even if that sense is peculiar. Yours behave like grasshoppers with ADHD.
