As your author note says, though, it is just a snippet of what seems like should be a larger story. Without follow up, starting us readers off in the midst of a battle is short of a full experience.

Yeah, sadly I kinda forgot how I wanted everything else to go, and eventually I lost the inspiration. However, this WAS based on a lesser-known blog I like anyway, so you can check that out for something a little more, although it's mostly artwork from what i can tell. XP

Okay, that was a pretty good story, but... I think that you should edit something. So, who exactly is Jack? You never explained who he was, which, I get, from the context, you never got a chance to. Maybe find a way to do that?
