After getting through his quirks such as over-obsessing about things that most ponies would find uninteresting and having a general misunderstanding of everything else around him, Monotone suddenly finds himself in the emotional cesspool that is adolescence. Suddenly undermotivated, underacomplished, and bored of just about everything in life Monotone is confronted by a draconequus that is tasked with helping him find some friends.

A really odd place to end this chapter. No cliff-hanger, and no resolution. But just a terminus.
I feel like you haven't laid the real conflict out yet. The protagonist is unhappy, but not really in a conflict situation yet. It would be nice to have had that much of the story told before posting. Right now, I really don't know what to think or feel about this.

However, more insight on Monotone's internal conflict will be discussed in later chapters. This was mostly just an exposition. Maybe in the future I'll add one or two more chapters and get more into the rising action and develop the conflict better before I submit my next story.

Good story I like it but you misspelled pegasus in the second chapter. Also your chapters are short and choppy the first 2 probably could've been combined for a better effect. Also(again) the Princess Celestia thing was vague, maybe make chapter 2 longer and apply part to chapter 1 and the other to chapter 3? But as an overall atory it gets a 7/10, you're getting better. goodluck in your endeavors.
