It's you guys that make me feel like I'm giving something to the community and so I'm very appreciative.
I reluctantly submitted this to EqD, figuring they'd reject it for violence... I was correct. So too bad, it won't be on EqD. I'd rail on about their standards being far too harsh, and how so many great stories get left on the sidelines because of it, but they do provide me with a lot of awesome content so I can't be too mad, even if I disagree with their standards (there is like one paragraph of gore in a 7000 word fic).
But I'm not writing for views or recognition, I'm writing for my own personal creative satisfaction, and to give back to the community that has given me SO MUCH over the time that I've been a brony. Again, THANKS EVERYPONY!!!

I had planned not to read it and just skim over the comments.(almost 4 am here atm) Decided to read it afterall and I certainly do not regret it. Very well writen and quite touching even if sad to read.(And not the eye!.. My dear friend, for the first comment I am going to make on FiMfiction, I think this deserves it the most.
Your ability to write has blown me away, and want to thank you for writing such a beautiful story. The connection between Pinkie and her Dad fit perfectly. They way you described everything gave the reader exactly what the character was reading. The ending put the icing on the cake Trekkie. Bravo to you sir.

I read the entire story expecting the worse and i found it to be quite the emotionally painfull story i was worried it would be. I have to say i loved the story for the simple fact that it wasnt just get beaten and move on you had the mix of emotions with them still seeing there father as the being they love and look up to. So few artists or authors really catch that small detail. I adored the story from begining to end and the last line of the entire thing is what hooked me the most. Incredible work and i am truely happy i read this. Thank you for yet another fine read

It's kinda disappointing that it's my least read work, but it's not clop so I understand and like I've said numerous times, I don't write for views (though they do make me happy).

i think you should make a back story for pinkie's dad. might add some clarity to why he was so harsh any way great story
If my father had been that abusive, I'd have killed him one day for abusing me and my brother and mother. Thankfully, he wasn't; I love my family.
Any sorrow that bastard felt was his own pain to bear. He had no right going to Pinkie after all the abuse they'd taken. Pee on his corpse and move on.

Very well written and described, and it refreshes in mind how lucky I really am to have had the family that had growing up.
The ending to this brought some tears to my eyes. No matter how much of a monster somepony seems to be, they do have a kinder side to them that they just do not show. I think that Clyde should be thankful that he never had a colt because he would have been dead long before Dash got to kill him. Great job with this story. It really brings out the emotional trauma of an abusive family and the thoughts of a submissive child, just wanting all of the pain to end. I look forward to reading more from you in the future. Keep up the great writing!
My eyes filled with tears at the end, but they never spilled out so technically I didn`t cry. I stil think that Pinkie Pie should`ve ran away or something. She just ended up getting hurt anyways. Not to mention the fact that she just plain out said "Dashie, that was my dad." I like that you made her still love him. I would never love him and it makes no sense, but it`s kind of creepy/cool that she clings to the fact that he`s a nice guy just so that she can truly believe that he cares. He is a horrible man, but she`s too blind to see that. This reminds me of those abusive relationships where girls make the argument of "But, he loves me!" or "No, he`s a nice guy! You can tell that he`s sweet because he doesn`t even hit me that hard!" or sometimes even "He only hits me because I deserve it!" Nobody should ever get away with beating up another. Nobody should ever feel like they deserve the beatings. Abuse is a terrible thing.

Yeah, I think a chapter or a prequel to explain why Clyde Pie was the way he was is needed
