Whoa... Holy dear Celestia's name. This story really surprised me at how such a simple change of keeping balance, normally something that would prevent a horrifying disaster, could lead to such a long filled disaster. I love the influence that Rainbow Dash has for Fluttershy here, especially during and after the bathroom scene. Dang, the events in this story makes me want to hear about their fillyhood in more detail in this universe. I mean, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy, living together as official sisters, I would love to hear stories about that.

I enjoyed this story. It was nice to see the protective side of Rainbow Dash - that doesn't come out very often. This was a good idea.
I also agree with Skylight77 - there's a lot more you could do with Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash growing up together as sisters. That in itself could make for some great tales.
My only complaint is maybe showing what happens after the cutiemark shows up..
