Okay, so my understanding is another changeling managed to disguise himself/herself/itself as Shining?
Other than that, to be completely honest, it just adds a bit of 'what if' to the ending of the finale... nothing wrong with that, but there's not much else.

I really did not like this particular bit of writing, you seemed to have done the original fanficion thing and merely rewrote the episode on a particularly interesting part.

504545 Thing is, I do know this is very different from my usual stuff. I know that the ending gets the reader pent up, but when he reads the "Complete" status it feels like I threw a middle finger on his face.
This would be a very good prologue for a real story. But I decided to leave it as it is; to force the reader to interpret what happened as he pleases and to force him into imagining what will happen next (if he wants to, that is).
You could say that this was another experiment of mine... just less... experimental per se.
