Waking up in a tavern without her memories, Twilight Sparkle is tasked with mapping out the dreaded Everfree Forest. But what secrets will she find? And what dangers await her, as well as her new friends?
I can only hope that my aid can reach her in time...

Alright, now that that's out of the way, here's a few notices I need to put down:
1. I do not own MLP or the Ys series.
2. For those of you who have played Memories of Celceta, the first few chapters will be eerily similar to the actual game. This is to get my mind into the story and focus on the world before branching off in my own story tangent.
3. Unlike what the cover art suggests, Twilight is NOT an Alicorn in this story. That is just simply the best-fitting picture I could find.
4. Any hate comments will be ignored and/or deleted. If you ain't got nothing nice to say, don't type it into the comments. Negative criticism, if worded in a kind manner, will be taken into account.
5. As Pinkie Pie had said, "enough chit-chat, time is candy!" Enjoy!
Wow Ys has changed a lot since the ones I played, then again I haven't played a Ys game newer than #3. I take it the one you are basing this on is one of the remakes of book 1?

Well, I was actually unaware that this was a remake! I started the series with #7, the Ark of Napishtiem (Pretty sure I spelt that wrong). So, I guess I am basing this off a remake, but as it's the only version of it I've played, I guess it doesn't really matter...
5200777 after a bit of research I see that Ys: Memories of Celceta is actually the replacement for Ys 4, it just has a lot in common with Ys book 1. On a side note it turns out is Ys 3 is entirely non cannon.

I did a little digging, and apparently Memories of Celceta is a remake of Mask of the Sun, which is also a remake (what a !). So I'm pretty much three degrees from the original...
Well, I thought the game was good. It would have to be if it got TWO remakes.
i like the story and the writing style. ^_^ keep up the good work!
Nice. I've been waiting for a good crossover with Ys (even though I only played the games on PC and SNES).
I haven't played Memories of Celecta, but I've seen videos of it and, seeing as this fic's last update was months ago, I hope you'll continue.
I don't know why, but Ys seems like a perfect mold for a crossover (among other things but I won't mention them unless you want me to. )
And she asks the two obvious/cliché questions...
Oddly, I am reminded of
