Pterry

Pterry likes the show about horses.

No magic. No flight. No strength. No friendship. No hope. This is the world Sweetie Belle suddenly realizes she's living in. With hallucinations of a pair of supposed childhood friends becoming ever-more frequent and a visit from an old mare who seems to know what they're about, life just became a lot more complicated for this poor young mare. Can she find her old friends, rekindle their old friendship, and defeat a totalitarian regime before all of ponydom is plunged past the point of no return?

EDIT: I added a short paragraph to "Patriotic Duty" that shows Sweetie Belle giving spare change to a beggar. I had an idea about where to take the story that required the edit. The action itself is unimportant, but what it illustrates will be supremely important to the resolution of the story.

This story is clearly rather criminally under-read. I enjoyed most of it, although the prologue was rather confusing, it felt like a weird mixture of rehashing the Tirek fight and then suddenly Trixie is there, and there are vague references to the Nightmare. The Sweetie chapters, however, are wonderful. I thought Twilight was wonderfully represented as having begun to lose it, and I loved the twist with Twilight fathering Sweetie's foal.
Keep up the good work.

Is that Twilight? What the fuck?

Besides that, AWESOME STORY!!! It's a great idea well fleshed out and it has just the right balance of normal shit and weird shit.

Twilight had sex with Sweetie Bell. TWILIGHT HAD SEX WITH SWEETIE BELL!!! WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK??!!!

Oh gosh this is glorious. I love what Trixie did with the Changelings. Typical of an evil dictator. And I love how Scootaloo and Sweetie Bell met each other.
