The "First Meetings" Universe is a massive place. Unfortunately, there is simply not enough space for everyone to have their moment to shine.

For those unlucky few, they have their home here, in this collection of side-stories.

These are the side stories to the First Meetings Universe.

1. Mass Effect: Shepard and the Rainbows
2. Mass Effect: Shattered Record, Broken Rings
3. Mass Effect: Gathering Storm (Mass Effect One)
4. Mass Effect: One Wrong Step (Equestria Girls Side Story)
5. Mass Effect: Harmony Lost
6. Mass Effect: Fight for the Lost (Mass Effect Two)
7. Mass Effect: The Darkness Breached (Mass Effect Three)
A. Mass Effect: Side Stories

It is advised to read the main stories first, as there may be spoilers in these side-stories.

Note: These stories do not take place in any sort of chronological order. In the author's note, there will be a brief description of where each vignette takes place on the timeline.

Very nice. The bit about Chelsea and her 'love-at-first-sight' with a worn-down little ship made me think of Firefly in all the right ways. And I'm definitely looking forward to seeing more glimpses of first contact.

Wish I could help with your Shepard and the Rainbows troubles, too, but the entire extent of my legal expertise is playing the Ace Attorney series.

Finally some background, I always wondered about the whole sphere thing while reading the main storys.

Really looking forward to it.

Greetings from germany, 3ee

Very interesting  looking forward for more background :twilightblush:

How the gell did they land? I understand that overcharged ftl drive "telepotred" them (which would be lethal, or at least should cause lot of damage, according to Mass Effect lore) But how did that ship land? autopilot couldn't do it, as the sensors can't properly sense the ground. Eventually they could have hard landing, with slightly damaged landing gear or something, if the ship can't detect the distance to the surface.

I can't wait for more backstory

Ohh this is interesting. Does stresses placed on the sphere cause the stars to appear. Would seem that is what Luna does to create the stars since there was a reaction with Chelsea's movement and the sphere.

From what I gather from the mass effect universe the object going FTL would be at zero or negative mass. It would be like shooting an egg at a wall at a hundred miles an hour, SPLAT. Mabee the sphere was enchanted to protect anything that slammed into it since it covers up the sun and would block any em frequencies and would leave nothing to warn people to avoid that particular point in space.

Nope, 0 mass means 0 inertia, means no damage from splatter. Negative mass on the other hand would be disastrous, would be splatter but in opposite direction.

Poor Will, but that was hilarious. :rainbowlaugh:

Poor Iron Will, but that was down right hilarious. I'm just picturing an Asari head butting Iron will and I can't stop laughing. :rainbowlaugh:

If flashbacks to the rest of Riley and Dashies child/fillyhood aren't in their sequel, will they be here? Part of me wants to see Twilight and Dash have a "see who's older sibling is better!" faceoff with Shining and Riley just staring exasperated in the background.

5647108 Well, with the series I have planned, there is certainly time. I'm planning on sitting down and finishing up the arrival arc sometime soon, and adding whatever bits interest me after that. There very well may be a scene or two like that. :coolphoto:

The Blue Rose of Illium has Thorns.

Yay. :yay:

It updated now!

Praise Jesus and all Heaven!

I love this fic a lot now!

I'm also looking forward to part four!

...does this mean Discord made the Sphere?

The plot thickens...

Nicely done  I look forward to part 4 hopefully soon :twilightsheepish: Now I go back to the main story :rainbowlaugh:

5956187 part four not done yet.

Hehe, nicely done. Entering into history due to chance and good natured naiveness, the hallmarks of a true hero! :pinkiehappy:

Hahaha! Loved it! :rainbowlaugh:
When I first saw the stage my first thought was that it was Trixie... :pinkiehappy:

This was...fun? I won't lie, I was really hoping for more on Chelsea and the awakening of Equestria, and then this...

Don't get me wrong, it's all pretty good, just jarring to go to such a different story when it looked like you were going to follow up with a continuation of the awakening short.

Still, fun.

"Alright." Ereba nodded, stepping up close to Iron Will. "You're seminar is bad, and you should feel bad."

Not exactly boom, more like shooting yourself. Negative mass means negative inertia, if you push it it would push back as an immovable object until you stop applying force, than it would rush toward you applying its own inertia on you crashing you.

I love little tidbits like this, it is amazing.

Oh man, here I thought we get to read how Celestia reacts to the human standing in her throne room. :fluttercry:

It is still a good chapter, though.

when there was sill time to make repairs

1. Still.

Right now though, it's streets were deserted
though their hearts don't beat and their lungs didn't breath
There was something about it that seemed to breath with life
Now, these These poor souls have been stuck like this for a very, very long time

1. Its.
2. Breathe.
3. Breathe.
4. Hmm... probably an extra worod here. Not sure if you meant that or something else.

You're seminar is bad, and you should feel bad

why the Empress had to recuse herself from the room

1. I feel there's something off in this part here for some reason...

No, that's perfectly cromulent.
