After the events of the battle between the Moonbloods and the Warmbloods, Fidget follows a flying Ahrah whom is trailing alongside a blue spectrum.
In the event of a thunder storm, Fidget gets caught in the choppy winds and is blown away along with the blue spectrum.
In a new world, Fidget and the now solidified Dust, must face new challenges in a world not entirely unlike their own. But their greatest challenges will not be helping Dust figure out who he was or who he is now, but who both of them want to be. Heroes, or wanderers? Friends, or something more?

I have really high hopes for this story. I'm not ashamed to admit how much Dust dying affected me, and it feels great to know that he lives on. I particularly enjoy the interactions between Dust and Fidget- very true to form. Looks like I'll be taking a look at some of your other stuff, too. Can't wait for the next chapter!

PS: The chapter screens are a nice touch. You have me cautious intrigued after reading the first chapter.
I like it so far, I do have one issue though. The bolt that nearly hit Dusk. This guard is suspicious, but ultimately fairly reasonable about Dusk being there. They strike up a conversation that's downright friendly given the situation, and the guard talks about about the whole tolerance thing.
So... They're just completely ignoring the fact that his first action was to straight up attempt to murder the unknown sapient being for no good reason whatsoever? Inches away isn't a warning shot, it's either a failed attempt to kill something or complete and utter recklessness and disregard for life. It really doesn't fit with the rest of the story.

5129140 well, what if that guard's special talent is shooting with bows and/or crossbows? then that could have been a warning shot. or he wanted to soot a warning shot and didn't take the wind into account? or the crossbow fired on its own and he simply brushed it off as a warning shot? my point being, it could have been a lot of things and still be acceptable.
Man, i hope this isnt like most of your other stories where you write a great first chapter then never touch it again....

I only saw a bit of a Let´s Play, but i love both characters very much, i maybe only remember that Fidget was somehow cute, but it seems she loves him to and he likes or love her?!?
I am fine with that, i already like how it is written, it seems like it would be worth the while to read the story.
Aaaaah the first thing i am not that fond of, well i don´t like the idea that the other main six are maybe death, but that don´t ruin anything for me yet.
Please take your time for the story, the way it is written is very very good. I am pretty sure i really like it that much right now.
I would love it if they like each other, maybe they can find a way later which would explain how a relationship could work. I know the story is only teen, i just think that the sex part would be probably one thing, that you would have to explain somehow it they really should be together. I mean, i don´t remember how which size Fidget really is.
Maybe i am going to interpret to much in what i have read, but very close friends would be fine too. (I speak German, so this maybe explains if i don´t understood something.)

I gotta say, as I read through this it felt like this story would have turn out to be a another great game. Sounds silly, but I can't help it.
Also, I know their were few other authors that tried to make this story too earlier, but none of them had the chance to finish it so it was left in the dust.

That being said, it's... I don't really know. I've only played the game once and it was enough to completely entrance me. I don't know what did it but the same happens here, I am completely and utterly hyped on this story. I just want to read more and more, I want to squee and gush and everything. It's something I normally have to go through only when my long-followed expansive and grand favourites update once every blue moon.
And yet here we have this one, short(by my standards) chapter and I can hardly contain myself.

Ahh, reaper, We meet again. last night was in a dragonball mood. Now, I'm all dusty. Literally just installed, then beat Dust: An Elysian Tale today. finished it......7 minutes before finding this.

The door slowly creaked open letting the smell of paper and leather to waft through the man's nose.
He slowly walked into the darkened room lined with tall and dusty bookshelves.
The man slowly and randomly picked up a thin book with the title "Ashes to Ashes... Dust to Dust"
The man slowly dragged his black hood backward letting the soft glow of the moonlight to blanket his face as longing gripped him.
