Although it left it, it knew that it was right, it made it down, because it didn't know what's up.

E
Fly

I have always liked flying.

Ever since I first learnt how to fly, I was determined to touch the sky.

The beauty of our world during flight is hard to describe, but I'll do my best for you.

Let me tell you what it is like to fly.

Such moods take us all from time to time. It's only when we cannot take ourselves back that we must seek help.

This is a powerfully effective story. Thank you.

5126071 Thank you for your wonderful comment. I feel a little adrift right now and all I can say is that when I looked into the sky today I wondered if I would ever be able to touch it. One of my most craved dreams, the most improbable dream, is to see Earth from space. To see everything in such breathtaking completeness and beauty and wonder how I am both a part of it and away from it.

I'm not sure if flying would come close to describing this feeling, but if I could fly I know I would never stop.

Ever since I first learnt how to fly, I was determined to touch the sky.

Isn't it supposed to be learned? Also, seemingly good story, WILL READ :3 :derpytongue2:

That was bloody wonderful.

I glided with my hooves stretched out like a foal her first flight.

I believe a word is missing in this line. (Besides, is it wrong that I kept trying to imagine Scootaloo as the narrator?)

5127366 Oops, I worded it a little differently in my head but when I transferred it to type I missed a word. Thanks, it's been fixed!

I loved it! :pinkiehappy: You've got a unique style with this one, and it works beautifully. I felt like I was flying right along with her. Sad, but potent. A great read!

5127750 Thank you so much! It was a pleasure to write, I felt like I just had to be in the mood to write it.

A very nice piece. You always hear about characters praising flight, but not often do authors try and capture that. It's nice to see someone else take a stab at it.

We fight time to hold on to that which defines us, one day at a time. This captures that sentiment well.

Prepare for trouble!
Make it double!
To protect the world from devastation!
To unite all peoples within our nation!
To denounce the evils of truth and love!
To extend our reach to the stars above!
Jessie!
James!
Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light!
Surrender now, or prepare to fight!
Meowth!
That's right!

This is beautiful.

Pegasi in their twilight years must be sad indeed to lose the gift of flight. I often wonder if they have a way to go out in their prime on that dark night. Lived not as long, but twice as bright.
