After a malfunction causes the lunar lander to crash on the moon, Captain West explores his new home as the only survivor. While investigating, he falls into a hole that leads him to another part of the moon that is actually part of the universe containing Equestria. Along with his new surroundings, he also comes across the imprisoned Nightmare Moon. After a discussion among each other, they end up bringing two worlds together, if only among themselves.

5111258 Perhaps a sequel where Luna brings Celestia into the dream, and introduces them to each-other. And maybe in the 1000 years Luna's been gone, Celestia came to learn about a new magic that allows her to reincarnate the souls of those she meets after death... at the cost of their memories. Celestia tells Luna and the astronaut of this, and Luna and the astronaut have to come to a decision about it.
