The memories, the way you wrote them, was very lovely!
A lovely story, shame it's not getting more attention. You do a nice job of showing love. Not fiery passion or white hot romance, but simply love, as most are likely to find it. Well done, hope for more.

The pacing was good and the flashbacks very well managed.
My only suggestion would be, to put a blank line after every paragraph, it's easier on the eyes in my opinion.
