Basically its the tale of Twilight journey into darkness if she was over 1000 years old and didn't know it and the events of the past before Nightmare Moon was banished were shroud in lies.
I'm the co-author of the story.
this needs an editor. the biggest issue is punctuation, or lack there of. there are many a run on sentence in here. and many of the characters feel really OOC to me. but i'm going to write that off as it being 50 years in the future. it's an interesting story, but i really suggest either getting an editor, or having a second editor take a look at it.

We tried to keep run on sentences down but my co author and myself have a bit of trouble with that since we must send it back and forth from one another to be able to keep who writes what straight. We do need a beta for this and the second story in this series, since we are trying to make a complete series for it.
so the dislikes are just for the english then and not the plot? cause i gotta say that actually sounds kinda interesting how it puts a twist on all the established main elements of the show's plot points , except i don't see a mention of discord but his main thing was far before this time so that's understandable , but what about his recent connection to fluttershy?....
also how does this have a sequel made for it already if it's not done?.....

Discord is in the story and will make an appearance in chapter two as well as having a full part in the plot line in later chapters. He still connected to Fluttershy and will show a lot of his feelings about what's going on. He even has a huge part in what happened in the past with Celestia and Luna before they become the Rules of Equestria. Discords will reveal many of the Secrets around the Nightmare Moon incident as well as secrets about Celestia's past and Twilight's connection to Sombra.
As to the sequel thing it is very simple. Age of Dominance was written first as a one shot story but several people complained that there was no clear reason or reasons for Twilights hate or behavior in that story. So to explain the events of Age of Dominance AlicornMistress and I decided to write about what happened before hand to explain Twilights behavior and why she is going to become the new solo ruler of Equestria.
I hope this explains everything for you and the second chapter should be done in a few weeks as IRL stuff has kept us from working on this story.

As the story progresses Discord will have to make some hard choices and eventually will have to decide if he still wants to be the God of Chaos or live a normal and mortal life. So ultimately you'll just have to wait and see what he chooses to do. Thank you for reading and I hope you stick with us through our tale.
I'm confused. It's apparently been 50 years since the mane 6 became immortal and the CCC died in some kind of...vague incident. It's been 20 years since Big Mac and Cheerilee died. And a third generation Big Mac is apparently a young adult (which would mean that technically 120-130 years should have gone by).
Is Ponyville located in some kind of pocket of distorted time? Because the math doesn't quite add up.

The CMC died on field mission. That is all I can say without consulting my co-author about what kind of mission they went on.
