Note Sketch

Note here, not much to say other than I love to write. My dyslexia is a huge obstacle when it comes to that, but I still enjoy sharing my stories, especially about King Sombra, my favorite villain!

T

To the average observer, Sunset Shimmer made a full one-eighty when she was hit by the Rainbow Blast back when she turned into a She-Demon. However, she didn't just suddenly turn good or realize her mistakes. Truth be told, she died back then. She was welcomed into the cold embrace of death.
In that darkness, she found him. The one they call Sombra, there to welcome her to her doom. Surely a bright mind like her's knew the Price of Evil.

This story was interesting. I like the way that Sombra managed to make Sunset redeem herself by making her face her demons. The extra scene with Luna was great, as it establishes an interesting background for Sombra, provides shipping fuel for Luna, and a possible sequel hook. I love the chapter.

Perhaps Sombra should consider applying for the position of 'The Ghost of Hearth's Warming Yet to Come'. :duck:

One quick nitpick in the description:

The one they call Sombra, there to welcome to her doom.

Something about that second clause seems clunky. Perhaps "welcome her to her Doom" would work?
This looks interesting, and I'll be sure to come back to this!

So, she never was really evil in the first place, just lonely. All she wanted was to be noticed, for people to respect her. She thought she could force them to notice... sound like anypony else we know? *Cough* Nightmare Moon *Cough*

Question: why is this classified as a tragedy when it clearly isn't?

5131886 It's not? It's only got the rating T and tag of Dark because it deals with death. Is my phone glitching or something? Cause i really don't see a tragety tag.

5131946 No... apparently the bug is on my side, for some reason. Tag's still there. :ajbemused:
Well, I guess such is to be expected, the update having come out recently and all that...

I like how you portrayed Sombra.

I think something similar happened with sunset in the canon. Being forced to see her own inner evil shattered her and forced her to own up to just how awful and self serving she was

That really didn't make any sense at all. Sombra is clearly hanging out with Luna and yet you say he's dead. The plot premise seems okay but the whole Sombra thing feels like it doesn't really fit.

Am I the only one who imagines Sombra's voice being Crispin Freeman's Alucard voice?

>> The Narwhal Assassin OMG! i love hellsing ultimate! your profile picture is awesome! :raritystarry:

Oooooooo........:pinkiegasp:

Sombra and Luna, you sly baddies.

And Luna, do you have a thing for Sombra?:trollestia:

This is perfect! I had hated the ending of EQG went, because why would Sunset change straightaway to bawling? Well, this answers that question! Good show!

So, Celestia controls the Sun. Luna the Moon. And Sombra helps the souls of the dead.

This doesn't really fit in the overall narrative behind the elements. Sunset gets ouright killed, but comes back if she repents?

Meanwhile Sombra gets inconvenienced temporarily, Nightmare gets blasted to the moon and discord turned to stone. Let's assume that they refused to repent and thus got their punishment. What did Sunset do that warranted death.

Also, "Hi, you're dead but if you convert to my way of thinking you can come back to life" is the same as converting people at gun point, except worse because of the actual trauma of already being dead.

This is an immensely dark and evil way of doing things.

I think I'd like to do a reading of this, on my youtube channel, Let me know if I have your permission.
