Okay so since I never watched the show but had heard of it then saw all your down votes I decided to check out the first episode of the series just now.Even though you did try to change a few elements which is good,this still fells like the story line from the episode but with a few name changes.
By that I mean it fells like the character from what this is parodying but with the names of MLP characters rather then MLP characters being themselves from the MLP series but in a situation similar to this other franchise.
Like say if fluttershy suddenly became one of the lanterns. Green,blue,pink,whichever one you can think would fit her. Could you picture her suddenly becoming aggressive,over cocky,saucy,or completely brave like some of the well known characters in those comics? I would think not. That's not in her personality.
The idea to this is interesting though. I like that you made Twilight an antagonist of sorts in this.
