I'm the Doctor

"Are you sure we should have left him? I mean, he seemed scared out of his mind going in the box." Fluttershy said as she and Rainbow Dash were flying out of the forest.

"Yeah. We were just told to watch him ‘til he made it to the blue box like Pinkie said. Nothing more. Besides, what the worst thing that’s going to happen?" Rainbow said.

"I don't know. I just feel like something is going to happen. Something big." Fluttershy said as she and Rainbow Dash landed in front of her cottage.

"You’re just imagining things. He’s just a teenager." Rainbow dismissed with a wave.

"We are teenagers too and we just saved Equestria from Nightmare moon. If you don't mind me saying." Fluttershy said quietly as she opened her house door. Causing Dash to make an embarrassed face while rubbing the back of her head sheepishly.

"I guess you’re right." Rainbow said as she followed Fluttershy inside the cottage and to the kitchen.

"Want some tea?" Fluttershy asked.

"Sure." Rainbow replied as she sat down on a chair. Rainbow stared at Fluttershy’s leather jacket, suddenly remembering seeing her wearing it everywhere. Not to mention the jacket seemed old and abused, like it had seen a lot of action. It doesn't suit somepony like Fluttershy who is kind, shy and quite.

"Hey Shy, can I ask you something?" Rainbow ask.

"Sure." Fluttershy reply as she brought tea to the table.

"Well, it’s about your jacket you see. Why does somepony like you have it? It doesn't fit your personality at all." Rainbow asked bluntly.

Fluttershy just started to look depress suddenly. Rainbow flinched at the sadness in her eyes.

"I'm sorry, you don't have to answer the question. Just forget about it." Rainbow said quickly.

"It okay. I just wasn't expecting this question soon." Fluttershy said as she took off her jacket and place it carefully on the table to let Rainbow get a better view of the hold thing. Rainbow Dash saw more scratches and burns. Some look really bad. Before she can question these marks, Fluttershy started to speak again.

"This jacket use to belong to someone I never got to meet and yet, hold dear to me." Fluttershy said as she took a sip of tea.

"Who?" Rainbow ask curious.

"My father." Fluttershy reply sadly.

Dragon kingdom 1997

? Pov's.

I didn't want to come here with my dad. This place is boring. I want to fly around the sky with my wings, but nooo, my dad want me to meet with his friend daughter, who is a earth pony, and make friends with her. She’s okay, it’s just that I have to stay on the ground because of her. I'm getting of ahead of myself, let me start on why I'm here with my dad.

My name is A.K. Yearling. I'm ten years old and I'm traveling with my dad.

You see my dad is into archeological stuff. He studies these kind things for a living. He a great father, but easily distracted with his work. Also, he the only family I have left. My mother died by a sickness when I was three. I got most of my looks from her I heard from my dad and the pictures I saw of her. My grandparents on my dad side died before I was born in an accident with a carriage and the grandparents on my mother side hate my father. They blame him for my mother’s death and had the nerve to try to take me away from him. I socked them in the face and left with my dad. The look on their faces was priceless. So I’ve never spoken to them since then.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention my dad’s name and stuff.

His name’s K.S. Yearling. He stands a good 6'19 and is a unicorn. He has a grey mane, light skin, and his eyes are the color of coal plus he wears your typical archeologist’s clothing. He’s handsome as I have seen plenty of mares try to flirt with him, but he turns them down a lot. My father is a black belt in karate, Moi Tai, and lot of others fighting styles. F.Y.I. He teaching them to me you know. I'm doing awesome by the way. He never talks much except to me and sometimes his buddies if we're in the neighborhood.

Now to why we are in the Dragon Kingdom. My dad got information about strange metal that was used to make armor or something. He was also told about a few ponies that worked here, and a few dragons folks as well, had started to disappear. So, being the curious stallion he is, he went to investigate. Of course he brought me along. Which brought us to now, where we were spending a few nights at one my dad’s friend’s house. It’s not much, but it big enough to raise a small family. My dad got a guest room and I slept with the filly I mentioned earlier.

Her name is Lucky star. She’s about the same age as me. She wears a simple pink dress and white shoes. She has blonde mane and green eyes. She was currently asleep on her bed. It was around midnight I think and I couldn't sleep thanks to the thought of pony's disappearing and stuff. I was staring out of the window at the time and saw something walk by. I couldn't make out what it look like, but I know it wasn't normal. It shape was strange.

I was about to go wake up my dad and tell him about this, but stopped and thought it was a bad idea. I mean think about it: a little filly waking you up in middle of the night cause she saw a strange shape in a distance and didn't find it normal. You would honestly think she had a nightmare and try to send her back to bed right?

So I decided to follow this creature, I jumped out of the window and run across the street, being careful to not make a sound. I hid behind a trash can as it was looking around, probably checking if it being followed. Once it saw the coast was clear, it went on it merry way. I, of course, followed behind.

Two hours later. Still A.K POV.

I followed the creature to a random building. This place was dark and spooky, but I still pressed on. I managed to get through the door without making noise and being seen. I’d been very lucky so far. Anyway, a few minutes later the creature stopped in front of a screen of some sort. I hide in the nearest cover I can find and hope I won't be discovered. I still couldn't see what it was, it was too dark. The screen lit up and the creature started to talk to it. I couldn't understand what they were saying, but based on their creepy laughter after they finished, I figured it wasn't good.

I was planning to slip to slip away and warn my father about this, but I tripped and made a really loud crash. I turned around as the creature looked back and saw me getting up. It pressed a button that I presume sent a signal to others like him, which means I need to make like a tree and leaf.

But before I could try to run, the creature shot a net gun over me and thus trapping me. I try to free myself, but it was no use. I was frightened as the creature stood out of the shadows and showed its face to me. I didn't know what it was, it was close to being pony, but much weirder.

The creature was saying something as it pulled out a sword made of an energy of some sort and raised it over its head as if it was about to strike me down. I closed my eyes, not wanting to see what comes next.

It was going to kill me!

I waited what seemed to be like an eternity, but I felt nothing hurting. I open my eyes to see what going on and found a green haired teen dragon over the creature unconscious body with a big smirk on his face. He walked over to me and ripped the net off of me with ease, mostly because of his dragon strength. I was about to ask him who he was when he placed a finger over my lips to silence me, then grabbed my hand and gave me words of wisdom that I will never forget:

"Run for your live."

To this day I didn't know why I followed him without hesitation. Maybe it was his eyes that screamed old and mischief at the same time. Maybe it was his smile that shown with excitement a little colt would have. I may never know, but I would never change that moment for anything in the world.

I ran with him out of that place and lead him to my temporary home. He followed without problem. As we were running away from the building, I turn to him and asked "Who are you?"

He smirk and said a name, that I didn't know at the time, means hope to all.

"I'm the Doctor."
