5003410 Don't take it personally. I'm just annoyed with the sheer volume of Fallout Equestria spin-offs all over the place. It's probably the most overdone sub-genre among MLP fanfics. If you really want to keep writing this though, I won't stop you.

The story really well written and formatted, some of the split up narration paragraphs could be fused to make bigger ones. Bigger paragraphs look a bit more professional in my eyes.
It's difficult for me to say that I like this story... but I appreciate it as a FoE story.
There're never enough of those.
The only thing I don't really like is the the concept (not saying it's your fault in writing or anything, just the concept) of that religious leader /prophet being evil/mad for no reason apart from that he's a religious leader. With all due respect for criticism on religion, that's a bit... flat. Their leader kills innocent people just for the sake of it (aka Celestia send him a vision). Even in religious fanaticism, that's not how killing people is justified. If the would have done something wrong (like being fillyfoolers in your story) that would be at least somehow understandable, since they broke the "law". But I'm not aware of any kind of established religion that demands killing its own members. And I severely doubt any religion or organisation at all would survive if they would do that.

Anyways, there was a reason for the killing of half of the population, which I am not sure if I would have written later (but I probably should have included) .
There wouldn't have been enough supplies to last an entire Stable worth of ponies in the wasteland for that long, thus, Mendax had to accommodate.
Prophets (In stable 34 at least) claim they have visions right after the last Prophet has passed. (There have been multiple cases of multiple ponies claiming visions from Celestia at the same time when a Prophet dies)
I wasn't exactly going for the bashing religion angle on this, I was trying to go for the 'blindly following religion' angle.
If you had noticed, this religion has become so warped and corrupted that it only vaguely resembles the shadow of it's former self.

I really like this story even though it's one chapter. I would love to see if she meets a Steel Ranger along the way like the cover art. Love to see more.
