The premise totally screws it over. It`s just not in character for Twilight to gamble like this. Books or no books, she`d sooner keel over then actually gamble on the domain of Ponyville. I mean, it`s not like Diamond Tiara could do anything at being denied the chance to gamble for Ponyville.
