4977794 Well, uh, thank ya kindly amazed friend.

Haven't read a Scootaloo story that enjoyable in a long while. That was just plain good.

4977911 Thank ya kindly, hopeful friend. You're a welcome whisper.

She gets ready. She combs her hair.

Does she like to grababrushandputonalittlemakeup?

4977924 The real question is, why did she leave her keys upon the table?

AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHNNNNNOOOOOO

MUMBO JUMBO!

Sniffling brought memories of fire-side beatings.
“Didn’t know you drinked, Rainbow Dash…” The child whispered, watching night fall.

rainbow beat scootaloo?! by Faust, who would ever make a child go through all of this?

oh, and is 'drinked' supposed to be 'drank'?

4978378 Um... I try to focus on realistic dialogue. A kid her age and her disposition wouldn't have perfect speech all the time, yeah?

And, that was actually a figurative parallel.

In being abandoned one, more time, Scootaloo realizes why angels deserve to die. So, instead of worshiping her, she knows Rainbow without the glamour.

Abandonment. Drinking. Selfish tendencies. A child will draw comparisons between parent figures and, in this instance, she's saying 'you're no better than my Dad'.

4978397 oooh. see, i love reading stories like this, but sometimes parts of them just go right over my head. thank you for the clarification.

"It tore me apart. But I learned an important lesson. You can't count on anyone, especially your heroes," Syndrome/Buddy Pine.

Yeah, I'm sure that Scoots is feeling what Buddy felt on some level, but then again Buddy had supportive and caring parents. In almost every Scootaloo story I've ever ready she either has the worst possible parents, been abandoned, or her parents are dead. There are a few, very few, stories in which she has amazing parents. That said, even though this is working within the Scootadopt genre I enjoyed it. I felt that it painted a realistic picture of seeing your hero in their worst moments.

For Scoots it had to be eye opening to know that no matter what happened from this point on her idol wouldn't be an idol anymore. Rainbow Dash become a real pony. She wasn't this above it all mare, but instead she was just flesh and bone.

Good story. I give you a like and a favor.
