No, Celestia just insisted that everyone move away from Canterlot so they wouldn't be killed when humanity came after her, and they eventually stopped waiting for her to tell them they could come back and got on with their lives.
Well unless you're asking about all the ponies on earth, in which case no, the human descended ponies who wanted to turned human and mostly moved into space, and the ponies left on earth mostly stayed were they were, just feeling a lot smaller thanks to the occasional postcards from various ex ponies talking about cloud mining on Jupiter or teraforming a planet in another solar system, or maybe just a few pictures of themselves pretending to hold the earth in their hands.
Great story but can you link the original story?
Confusing but fun.
Love this story, wish their was a sequel. It would be fun seeing her reactions and thoughts to everything new and how ponies have changed.
