Story in a nutshell:
Applejack doesn't win the pageant and they all learn a lesson in friendship about not taking
advantage of your friends.

Amidoinitrite?

I think there's something missing at the end of chapter one. The last thing I see is

“Pleeeeeese say you'll stop by Sugarcube Corner

And then the start of chapter two which doesn't seem to make much sense, so I think something got left out. Looks interesting so far though.

Repairs have been made. Thanks for noticing.

You should've cracked a joke about "Rainbow Dash always dresses in style" would've been great. :rainbowlaugh:

That ending :rainbowlaugh:

that hat is magical :ajsmug:

Okay, having now read both of your stories so far, I've gotta say...you've got a gift for writing Rarity, man. I can definitely hear all her lines in my head, complete with her weird Madonna-y accent.

Also, the stuff with AJ's hat was great. And bringing wrestling signs to a beauty pageant needs to be a thing in real life.

583415 Thanks. This was actually a practice fic before I jumped into "Road to Ponyville." Good to know you enjoyed this too.

Excellent.

I thought this was fun. Felt like an episode.

Nice stuff. The ending felt a touch rushed but you wrote everyone perfectly. I loved the second storyline with Aj's hat. Bravo.:pinkiehappy:

Nice story, could almost be made into an episode as-is -- especially the little amusing sight gags.

I felt that Fluttershy was a bit OOC though, and the Apollo scene near the end felt tacked-on and pointless. Also the bad punctuation detracts from the story.

Even today, this is the best-titled story on this site.
