5017735 Not that I seen. As far as I can tell in the show, Discord is attracted to conflict and changes in the magical balance. It doesn't necesserily mean that he sees all and hears all.

Pirates have always been pretty awesome. It took awhile but I finally feel the introductions and the setup for the rest of the plot is now well connected. Keep at it.
The name of the ship 'SS Gale' should be 'S.S. Gale'. Seems trivial I know but, without it, it just reads like a hiss.
In earlier chapter when you had the 'Sugar Lumps' (I like that! Smart name for the two!) following the CMC who were being followed by the Diamond Dogs, "What THEY didn't know what that they were being watched also." needs a "was" of the ones that made me hiccup during my read.
Nice adventure setup. Hardly see anyone use the Diamond Dogs, a missed opportunity within the show itself, too. Gotta love the determination and spunk DT brings to the table. They have magic and brawn, she has the plan. Or so she believes, being unaware of the monkey wrench next door.
