After five months of living in Equestria, more specifically in Canterlot Castle, it finally feels like the constant staring is long gone. You've gotten acquainted with a handful of guards, and even had a good friendship with two civilians. Life is starting to become a lot better, until somepony makes an off-hand comment about Nurse Redheart's paper on your health.

Not a fan of anthro but I know it's hard to make a punch out style story with ponies that don't have arms. Will read more to see how it goes, undecided if I liked this or not.

Okay, actually, that's me exaggerating; it's pretty good story intro, but some of the text seems a bit . . . unnecessary and/or strange, considering some of the previous information provided; IE, the transition mid-paragraph about how 'you' stop mixed martial-arts training, doing arts and computer stuff in the spare time just seemed strange and out of place. Particularly since it hasn't come up at all in the other few chapters.
But maybe that's just me; I'm sure others have different opinions.

A few people have made light of the technicality that having fur but no skin would be a bit gory, I've got another technicality for you. Ponies(/horses) have hair, not fur; something about the actual definitions of hair and fur.

4847838 Shining Armor is just being cautious. Almost everything that isn't a pony is usually trying to harm them, or are just mean (Griffons). I'll try to expand on his character in a later chapter.

I can't help but picture Little Mac as the protagonist here. I mean, you DID name the story Punch-Out after all, so him going toe-to-toe with anthro ponies sounds neat.
Eh heh, I only have two OC's, neither of which are any sort of fighter, so I couldn't help ya on the OC filler.
Still, hope the fighting will be as badass as that guard practice.
4847933 They don't have to be Big, Muscular Ponies. There are fighters (idk if it'll be boxing or kickboxing style yet) that are skinny and lightweight. If you wanna be in the story, send me the OC info!
I'm telling you, this being Little Mac is making a lot of sense. He'd probably be just as pissed at the cautious racism given he's fought more than a dozen fighters from radically different backgrounds. These coincidences are pretty cool.
