It's June 6th, 1944, the 101st Airborne parachuted into France, beginning one of biggest invasions of human history. After the horrendous drops that took place on the night of the drops, Matthews finds himself alone with only his rifle and what ammo he has left. While lost, he meets up and befriends someone that no one would'v ever expected in a war zone. That certain someone is Twilight Sparkle.

4933507 partly correct my friend. The real assault of the Brecourt Manor was happening during the Normandy landings. What u said was how the airborne drops were supposed to work, but they didn't. They were behind schedule because of the horrendous drops. Don't worry, even though Twilight has seen horrible things, she won't see the destruction of Omaha Beach.
4934945 Good to know. Sorry. My war history isn't that Great, but mention of Beaches made me think of Normandy. Anyway, I can only hope that Twilight can come to understand the Americans' view on why the war is necessary. If anything, my belief, albeit cliched, is that they'll tell her that they signed up to make sure no one else will have to live with the horrors of war, or mention the atrocities the Nazis have committed in the pursuit of Aryan purity

4939347 the 101st took the Brecourt manor and later, the town of Carentan. It was the British who took the Pegasus bridge and the Army Rangers who took Pointe du Hoc. All three though were part of Operation Overlord (codename for the Normandy landings), but, they were all preformed by three different divisions
