After mating with Spike during her first heat season, Apple Bloom has the entire town shocked as she eventually became pregnant.
No one saw this coming, and neither did Apple Bloom and Spike. However, they are prepared for whatever this event brings them. But what will happen when the baby comes a little earlier than expected; and will Apple Bloom and Spike survive through the process?

Most quality literary writing follows a simple yet time-tested writing axiom:
Don't Rush. Don't Delay.
Don't Rush... Take the time you need to put out a written work that you the Author are at least "80% satisfied" with (note "quotations"). Do not feel forced to put out something just because of a "deadline" or because your reader audience is clamoring for "moar!" Likewise, Real Life has a tendency to get in the way of literary writing (especially fan-fiction writing). Take the [time + effort] to put out something that you can say, "I am (at least mostly) satisfied with what I put out."
Don't Delay... The very important counter-balance to Don't Rush. While you should not force yourself to push something out, nor should you (& the reader audience) suffer from continual delays, procrastination, push backs, &/or put offs. It is far too easy to fall prey to the soft-cushioned trap of Slothfulness, or the honeyed poison of an excuse of not being "100% satisfied" with your work. The bones of far too many potentially great fan-fictions lie bleached and forgotten upon the Incomplete Wastelands and the On Hiatus Deserts.

If I believe it correctly, there are rules now that basically outlaw links to explicit content, and I think that also includes stories as well.
Based on the new rules, the author could not link Blooming Heat to this, even though we know that this is a sequel to the first, because the first is a clopfic. And there have been a lot of complaints about the amount of clopfics and how easily that they can be accessed, and that the people that complain about them claim that they got them "by accident" (For the record, I call bullshit: If you don't want to see porn, there are ways to hide the content, like de-clicking the view mature button. It makes you seem like a huge asshole when you complain about something that you have full control whether you see it or not.)

Depending on what type of dragon spike is, the baby could have dragon wings considering the interactions between magical creatures DNA. im throwing my bets on the kid being Half Earth Pony, and Half Wyvern. or Wyrm, depending on your interpretation. but most definitely one of the two considering how hard MLP leans to the Western interpretation of Drakes and their ilk.
