Twilight... there are subtler ways of getting the guards on your side... lying, diplomacy, convince them that you are rightfully queen... literally thousands of different things you could have done, and you just go and start killing them.

As much as I love my goddess Twilight, her methods of punishment for her friends-turned-enemies are, how shall I say it, too harsh. Why couldn't she keep the other Elements as her own harem of slaves? Keep the collars, magic inhibitors for the unicorns, and wingstraps for the pegasi on them; and they won't dare disobey. How will they attempt to defeat her if their minds are broken?
I call upon an old saying. "Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer."

I think your a really good writer, and the action in your story is perfect. I have to comment though about the Futa / hermaphrodite... If it is your thing, its your thing, but making EVERYONE have BOTH sexes, comes across to me as a complete cop out...it makes things too easy and contrived. You could really expand this story if you got rid of that.
Anyways thank you for the effort and the story. If you ever want to discuss ideas..I like to do that.
