Chapter 7 The Answers and The Truth

Luna began to stir from her unconsciousness and looked up to see her loving sister staring back than immediately pulled her in a tight hug.

"Sister! You're back! I have terrible news that occurred while you were gone. This creature from another world Invaded in hopes of conquest and sent some minion," Luna began to realize the events occurring earlier. "To, control, my" with each word she turned slowly to look at Sneak who walked away slowly in hopes of not being detected. All anger she felt came from there and she forgot the time Twilight taught her to change her approach. "YOU!!!"

Sneak yelled in panic and attempted to escape only to be caught in Luna's magic aura. Luna would've destroyed his audio sensors right there had Celestia not taken hold.

"You have angered my sister greatly with what you did, I would strongly suggest you 'spill the beans' as it's said."

Sneak did not need to be asked twice as he squealed like a pig.

"The boss knows that you know Jack Skellington, so he used logic and decided what better world to take over than the friend of his. So he had me do a little research and take the Elements of Harmony to make sure you couldn't use those on him, and finally used some magic he had to move Twilight's tree to somewhere you won't find it."

Celestia now knew the reason for this coup. ”Anything else of significance we should know?”

Out of nowhere Rainbow Dash came in and grabbed Sneak from the royal’s magic aura looking at him aggressively. ”Did he take three fillies by any chance?”

Sneak sounded a little happy form her query. “Now that you mention it yes. Three of our own guys stole three fillies; coincidentally each one was a different race-”

Sneak’s sentence was cut short as Rainbow’s grip on his neck tightened causing him to gag a little. Dash than preceded to yell directly in Sneak's face.

“Names! Now!”

“How should I know? Darn it Dash, I’m a henchman, not a secretary. Or a doctor either.” Sneak retorted, the last statement a bit confusing to some (and you if you have no idea what reference that is).
If it couldn’t get more odd, a pony apple bucked the door down later revealing Applejack and Rarity walking from it, the former looking perturbed while the latter spoke to Sneak. “Fighting isn’t really my thing I’m into fashion, but I’ll rip you to pieces if you hurt a strand on my sisters head!”

A look of surprise appeared on Sneak’s eye. “Now I know why you look familiar, that was your sister? Wait the names are coming back to me, Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and… the last one. Owned a scooter I than stole and made fun of her wings-”

“WHAT WAS THAT!?” Dash shouted hearing Sneak’s last sentence.
“Scootaloo, that was it. And your going to end me, follow my pack’s ancient saying:” Dash proceeded to raise her hoof. ”Not in the face!”

With the skeletons outside disposed of, it was no surprise that the rest of the group showed up Terry with a blanket confusing Twilight. Terry saw her curious look.
“For Celestia, see?” Indeed Celestia was out cold, but it was not from injury. Terry proceeded to technically mock her by taking in a baby tone.
“Awwww the wittle girl is all tuckered out from the fighty-wighty.” Ricky pushed Terry out of the way and put a helmet on Celestia than himself. The helmet looked similar to the helmet Twilight put on Pinkie Pie to figure out how the Pinkie Sense worked.

Twilight couldn’t help but ask-“Why are you doing that?”

“Something Luna promised Celestia to do when she came back. I’ll have to be an exception as Luna might be a little woozy.”

Luna overheard Ricky’s comment on her condition. “I am still magic able to perform this task. But if you are still doing this I’m coming too.”
Rainbow forgot about hitting Sneak, as this sounded cool. ”Same here.”

Ricky didn’t need to hear to know that the others would want to see what they’d see. His hand transformed into a cannon and shot a helmet at everyone except Luna and connected those helmets to his.

”You might feel a slight jolt.” Ricky pressed a button on his wrist and a huge electric shock went through every pony other than Luna and all f them fell to the ground unconscious while Luna just stood there, eyes pure white and unblinking.

Every pony woke up and found himself or herself in an odd place. Except for Luna who knew this place all too well other than the roaring fire.

The pits of Tartarus.

Luna had suspected that the dream Celestia had was beginning to occur, and her theory was proven right as she saw several chupacabras walk into a cage towards something inside it. Everyone was shocked as what burst through the crowd with surprising strength, Tirek.

Ricky smiled at this and shouted to the sky. ”Thank you karma!!!”

Twilight was about to tell Ricky how the chupacabras were now going to come after them, but noticed the Chupacabras were still focused on Tirek and completely ignored them. Twilight concluded that this was working similar to the potion the Zecora had given her when the Plunderseeds invaded.

”C’mon everyone, let’s follow him.”

Fear filled Tirek he had never known as the one that he betrayed whose instilled more fear than he even could hope to do he than saw the Large Chupacabra that He possessed flying towards him with a scrawnier one flying alongside him. With what little magic he still had, he sent a rock on a higher ledge falling straight towards the Chupacabra and slammed right onto him, the Scrawnier chupacabra grinning and gesturing the others to pick up their pace before flying off out of the pit, destination unknown. The one advantage of the fires to Tirek was that it allowed him to see their overall appearance: wings the same leather color of a bats as with their claws, but bright blue skin, red spines on their body and oval pure red eyes. Tirek turned around and saw a chupacabra matching the others in appearance except for the fact he had yellow eyes instead of red. He decided to name himself after his race but shortened the name to say it better.

“Chu! You gotta help me!” Tirek proceeded to hide behind Chu to buy him a bit of time.

“Dude, stay calm. I’ve been training for this moment my whole life. I’ve seen all the horror movies, so I literally know everything about how to avoid stuff like this.” His fact was cut short as a chupacabra bit his shoulder than let go as Chu’s eyes turn the same color as the others. It appeared he would’ve gone savage when he turned around but appeared like nothing happened other than his eyes.

“Second thought, gonna flip the script. Can I… eat your brains? Yeah or nay? Seeing some yay faces over here…”

Tirek only screamed as he ran for his life as his only ticket out turned on him. However he turned the corner found salvation again in an exit that was plainly unguarded only for it to quickly be covered by a colossal swarm of chupacabras.
The ones chasing him came around the corner and Chu was in the front.

“Ohhh, that’s a bummer. Good news for me though. Heh heh”

“Chu!”

“Sorry dude I just really want those brains.” He proceeded to make zombie noises and walked toward him with the rest in the cliché fashion.

Tirek quickly grabbed a ball of rock and fire and threw straight at Chu. “Stay back!”

The ball missed Chu by an inch, but went straight into the mouth of the chupacabra directly behind him who was about to roar but the ball stopped him causing him to swallow it. 2 seconds past and the Chupacabra roared again, this time a fire rose off his body, giving him a more demonic look and adding shade to his brothers around him.

“Give it up dude, your fighting back only makes us look more rad.”

Tirek saw something out of the corner of his eye that didn’t even make sense to be there in the first place: a kitchen stove pilot as large as a teenage dragon, and all the fires of Tartarus spanning out from it. Tirek found a cave he could use to hold out from the chupacabras chasing him. He moved in and before blasting a rock above to make sure he was safe he blasted the pilot causing the flames to go out. When he heard nothing and the lights wee out he breathed a sigh of relief.

“Safe.”

His relaxing was cut short as a fwoosh was heard from behind him. Tirek turned to see the rock blocking the cave, it’s top blown clean off, and Chu behind it his mouth releasing a little smoke.

“Hey man. By the way, I taught the chupacabras how to permanently keep the pilot lit. Among these dudes I’m like a genius. Heh heh.”

As if on que, the fires of Tartarus relight shining on Chu and the ones around him giving them a terrifying shade, as Chu backed away a little as the Chupacabras around him moved in climbing over the rock.

”Get those brains dawg.”

Tirek found a path up the rocks as the only chance of escape and took it without a second thought. As he ran up the path, the chupacabras came closer. He turned and saw he had come to a cliff giving him nowhere else to go. Tirek turned around to see the Chupacabras slowed down seeing he was officially cornered grinning with malicious joy and began to walk slowly towards him. Elsewhere back the entrance, the ones down there got the message and walked at the same place as the ones on top one of them being Chu, who happened to pass by a TV.

”Oh the end of the Lion King is on.” he sat down in front of the TV on the couch in front of it. A chupacabra way past him roared for to come on.

”Meh, I already sat down.” Chu said than getting more comfortable on the couch.

Back at the cliff edge, Tirek backed away in fear, as he was unsure of what they planned to do. “Wait! I can get you more power than what he can give you. What’d you say for or against?” the chupacabras said the same thing in union in the same monstrous voice as a few grabbed him and brought him towards the edge.

“Against.”

And than they threw him down where he landed but was unharmed. The chupacabras flew off leaving him to his worse fate to come.
Tirek was knocked out by the fall, but came to, looking up to see three figures walk by the flames onto a rock giving him a clear view of them. Two of them he recognized as Celestia and Luna but they were different from the last time he saw them. For one thing Celestia’s manes colors were a darker tone and instead of horseshoes she wore purple boots with a gold edge at the top. Luna had on gleaming red boots that looked more sinister in the flames and her crest was the same color. He crown looked more like a bats wing also red. Who was on Celestia’s right surprised Tirek even more” the one who sent the chupacabras after him, this time, he was a chupacabra but with black skin and purple eyes. Tirek used this as a chance to escape by attempting to fawn at their feet to try and earn their favor.

“Ah, my great and powerful master.” Tirek spoke bowing to show respect.

Celestia spoke and her first word had a bit of a laugh in it.” Master? I thought he said he was a weak and worthless fool.”

Luna responded while the demon remained silent. ”Yeah, that’s what I heard.”

Tirek’s mouth opens in horror as he realizes not only are these not the real Celestia and Luna but also he cannot talk his way out of this mess and his actions consequences have come to fruition. Celestia and Luna both looked at the demon for his opinion.

“Boss?”

The demon only laughed darkly and insanely as he joined the chupacabras looking just like the demon having their own laughter like psychotic hyenas while Celestia and Luna grinned evilly at what was about to happen. Tirek no longer thought logic and only desperation as they closed in on him as he backed up the wall.

“No. L-L-L-Le-Le-Le-Le-Let me explain. No. You don’t understand. No! I didn’t mean for… No, No! Look I’m sorry I called you… No! NOO!”

His pleas fell on no ears as the chupacabras dogpiled him, having their meal as the flames consumed them.

Twilight looked in horror at the scene unfolding below and couldn’t help but feel sorry for Tirek. Ricky thought the same then went back to thinking he deserved it. The others were shocked while Fluttershy fainted as soon as they began to jump him. The area around them went black as anew scene formed, Fluttershy was coming to and saw the stars appearing above her, looking in awe.

“Whatch’ya lookin at?”

Fluttershy jumped at the voice but turned and saw it was Terry’s brother Aaron. Difference between then was he had a moon shaped burn mark on his chest.

“Hi Aaron. What’re you doing here?”

“Well I came out of my hiding place, not in the closet and I came out and saw you guys passed out on the floor hooked up to Ricky’s machine. So I thought ‘can’t beat’em join’em.”

The two of them overheard shouting to them.

“Hey guys someone’s coming. Check it out!”

They met up with the group that consisted of the trip’s ponies (or wirewolves) Pinkie pie, Rarity, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Twilight, Luna, Chrysalis, Joe, Marty, Terry, and Ricky, and walked towards a large ship shaped ruin seeing…. Something land. A closer look and they realized it was the large chupacabra that was crushed by the boulder, but close up,

This was no chupacabra. For one thing it was red and another thing, it was much larger than it looked. To Twilight it looked like a… human she believed. To Fluttershy it looked like one of those thing Twilight told her about when she went to get back her crown, and her that time she was sucked into a comic book, became Saddle Rager, and got mad, only the skin turned red. Either way to all of them this was a red spiked Hulking creature whose face looked similar to a skull with flesh, but keeping the bone appearance, Luna felt a chill go up her spine when she saw it’s yellow eyes and mouth both glowing menacingly. It opened its mouth and spoke; it’s voice male and deep, reverberating.

"Sunshriek, I’m home”

An actual chupacabra, the very same one that left when the boulder crushed this thing, appeared, apparently being the one called Sunshriek. When he spoke it was menacing, but also fawned at his apparent master.

“Lord Diablo, I was so relieved to here of your survival.”

The red creature apparently Diablo placed one of his clawed fingers on Sunshriek’s chin slowing dragging it up as he spoke and removing it when he was done.

“You left me to die in that pathetic mystic prison.”

“Only to help make more for our army. The master decrees it. After all during you fulfilling his greatest wish, someone had to do it.”

Diablo looked irritated and slammed him in a wall with red orbs behind him.

"So disappointing”

Sunshriek choked but still pointed out the orbs, filled with their next species of evil to use.

“Careful hatchlings! Careful, fragile.”

“Even when in death, there will be no command but mine.” as Diablo spoke a orb cracked allowing a snake like creature to fall out then flop around like a fish.

The group walked to where Diablo was walking and came up to a area looking similar to the bridge of a ship Luna turned to the captain’s chair and what she saw not only made her heart skip a beat, but cause her blood to freeze solid before she came back to reality and realized who it was.
A humanoid skeleton covered in total smoke but its outline was visible, it’s skull elongated like a crocodilians, and two glowing unforgettable purple eyes. Luna would’ve blasted it there and now but she remembered it wouldn’t have made a difference. So she turned to the group to see Diablo about to speak.

"My master, I failed you on Equestria. Tirek’s interference caused the boxes power to be transferred to the element wielders. Without it your plan shall perish”

"You have much to learn my disciple. The box would’ve done nothing; its great power would only go to those of pure good. At least you have fulfilled my command to make sure Tirek causes no more interference.” The smoke in the chair spoke its voice dark, terrifying and evil.

“But it appears Sneak has failed by being captured.”

"He was mearly a useful pawn by using their collected magic from their travels to return me to power so that I may take revenge of Tau’s children and the one I so foolishly called my brother. Her last action resulted in my demise, meaning only a Alicorn of pure magic could defeat me, and only an amateur one remains.”

Twilight Sparkle… the sun raiser protects her.”

“With what is truly planned, not for long. Sneak did well using the spell to give the changeling, formally known as a queen nightmares, warning of my return through the burlap sack of a vessel. If she is intelligent, she will leave while it is still possible.”

“If she does not, she will join in the rest of doom.”

“When the time is right, she will.”

The group was shocked at they were hearing but heard no more as everything around them faded to black

When they all came back to reality, the group found themselves back at Floyd’s but still on the floor. When the looked around they turned and saw Celestia, with a look of great remorse on her face. While Terry had a look of confusion on his face.

“Can you tell us why Tony Todd has a vendetta against you?”

Celestia sighed at Terry’s remark thinking it as a joke and how she had to tell a tale she never thought would be told again. “Where are Shining and Cadence. This is something you all must know.”

Cadence came into the room hearing that last sentence.” What?”

“I’m glad you’re Cadence. Now I can tell you of a tale that is older than me.” Terry grinned at that.

“I love stories like this.”

“Then let me tell you this tale.” Out of nowhere, Terry got out a few mugs of cider and drank each one while eating some popcorn.

“You all know the tale of Faust, the first Alicorn who helped create our world. But you only know a part of the tale. Long ago, before any of the events 1000 years ago, but not long after me and Luna came into the world, we had received word that Saddle Arabia was conquered by a self proclaiming evil incarnate that took the name of it’s legends greatest hero, to spell it backwards, as it was the name of it’s greatest villain. We than received warnings that he was coming to invade Equestria, This came from his own brother who used this same name his brother used, kept it forward. Our mother sought to deal with the threat personally not knowing what fate had in store. The last face I saw on my mother was one with great sadness, thinking she would not come back. We found out with great despair it was true.
He then attempted to use the Tree of Harmony to his own quest for power. We made it to the Tree, attempt to remove him from it, but his influence was already too deep into it. When it seemed his victory was at hand, a light of of pure harmony shined on the Tree, purging him from it's roots. Not long after we escaped, he burst into a rainbow of pure Harmony, not only the first being to be defeated by the Elements, but the only one to be defeated by them Lethally. His forces were so shocked by his sudden demise in our darkest hour. They scattered like fly being directed into hiding by his second in command, Diablo and his goal followed by both Diablo and his apprentice at the time Tirek."

Everyone was shocked at this revelation but Terry was the only one to speak." One: that's a mouthful, and two: what's the name of this bigger jerk that was the master of that regular jerk?"

"It was that would even send a shudder to Sombra and Tirek, a name that gives discomfort to anypony even when all references to him were removed from books to prevent anyone from attempting to follow his example, or worse bring him back. His name was

sorry if the chapters shortbut schools coming up so I might not update as much so when I can i'll update and whatever happens happens.
Update: luckily I first typed the update on a laptop than moved it onto the site.
New Update: added the juiciest part of the story finally, and now I can update my blogs to include his name finally. And yes this is the end of the chapter.
Next chapter: Another revelation, new allies, and a tribute to a man who liked to make people laugh. You'll thank me for that when I put up that chapter.
