Welp, I wonder what the Red Lanterns are planning to do with storm clouds and acid blood. Something tells me nothing short of seeing Nightmare Moon about to kill the rest of the Lanterns will finally make RD see the truth about Twilight. Speaking of, I wonder how she will react to Spike? Who knows, she might be the only one who can bring him back to his senses. Is there a Star Sapphire yet? I don't remember.
Very little I can say beyond excellent job on this latest chapter. It may have taken a while, but it was well worth the wait. The action was absolutely excellent (especially with AJ and Pinkie fighting as a team), as was the little bit of comic relief concerning Gilda and Scoots.
And, yeah, the situation IS desperate if Chrysalis is actually begging for help . But, I suppose if any good comes out of this, It's that 1. there is the legitimate potential for a canon threat to be peacefully stopped pre-emptively. and 2. It's pretty much all but cementing Cadance's upcoming upgrade to Prime Star Sapphire of Equestria (though there is also a definite possibility of Cadance deputizing Rarity and thus, becoming the third Prime Lantern [after Nightmare Moon herself and Rainbow] to figure out how to make duplicate rings) .
And yeah, I will very definitely be looking forward to more of this, but will also be quite willing to be patient because I know and understand that real life concerns and lack of inspiration CAN crop up at the most inconvenient moments.
8324157 No. There is no Star Sapphire yet. So far, that's the only Lantern other than White that is left unaccounted for - at least for the time being.
However, I have an extremely solid hunch that Cadance will end up getting upgraded to a Star Sapphire sometime within the next few chapters.
And yeah, right now, I am pretty much agreeing with you on what it would take for Rainbow to finally see the truth about Twilight.
As of now, I don't think Twilight DOES know about Spike's upgrade just yet (considering all the stuff that's going on, it is really fairly understandable that she has been too distracted at this point [though she MIGHT have found out during the one-week time skip]), but I DO agree with you on the possibility that Twilight might have the potential to keep Spike under some semblance of control.
i wonder if that nasty little interaction between red rings and love will be brought up, it would certainly make for an awkward plot point though it is fortunate that they already have a blue on hand.
“That's what I thought too, however…” She then turn her attention to the Western area of the map. “Scoots said that she saw a lot of her forces heading west… but why?” She asked that she put a hoof to her chin, pacing around the desk. “Appaloosa is way too small a town for her to waste any large-scale forces on, so that must mean there's something in the Badlands net she's interested in… the question is: what is it?”
Fuck, she's going for the Changeling hive isn't she.
Also, since it is now a thing I do every chapter...
How very interesting...

Actually, the weakening of classism is what led the way for racism to fill the void during the enlightenment.
