After living years of longing and pains to point of an orphan, he finally returns to where his heart is soften. Never give up on who you are, even with the past like a haunting scar. Be true to yourself and strong, because in the end you may end where you belong.

This is a quick story i wrote about my OC, Jon bucker. It doesn't say everything about him but it shares enough. This is mainly a back story to where he ended up now. So i hope you enjoy.

I liked it. I am a little surprise that there was only one dislike. Only do to that you gave Jon in the story an advantage over Applejack, concerning apple bucking. Things like that tend to rub some readers the wrong way. Then again, I feel some readers are a little too critical of fan made stories based on a kids cartoon. Having only one dislike is an achievement in its self just the same.
The story was sad, and left one hanging as to wither or not his situation was going to improve. Mostly being able to head back to Ponyville. It is hard on a kid when he is pushed into living in a situation he may not have been suited for. I know moving. I did much of it myself. Been to five different schools. Never fun to be the new kid. I got into a lot of fights.
The story also quickly reminded me of Core of the Apple. I only seen it on the reading from ObabScribbler. I liked those. I seen the fifth is still being worked on by NaterRang.
Over all the story had a lot in it for a short story. Nice idea on the kicking bag. Not to say there was not one used on the show. Rainbow Dash showing Applebloom karate. I am also a sword collector, so I also liked the reference to the making of the sword. As well as his wish to never use it on anypony. Weapons are only horrible when we make them so by how we may use them. The axe, is one with many a uses. Ask any firefighter. Plus we can (with some imagination) make many of things in to a weapon that was not intended to be one. Lemon jello I am sure can sting in the eye real good, though not a very effective weapon of choice. A lemon pie is a little more dangerous.
