A late night in the library for Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle. A single misplaced blue feather.

After a compromising rumor begins circling Ponyville, Twilight and Dash leave town to avoid dealing with it head-on. But these rumors can't be true, can they? And why is everyone acting so strange?

Author's note: I hate this thing. I've been tortured by the act of writing it for like three years. It's been through about six complete re-writes, three name changes, several format changes, relocations, and once or twice, a font change for no real reason. Somewhere in my brain was a good idea for a story when I began, and I'm pretty sure that I have writing talent somewhere inside there too. But every time I put my fingers to my keyboard, I liked what I saw coming out less and less. I'm tired of revising it over and over and over again every time I come back to it. So I'm just going to upload what I have and move on with my life.

Three years in development? Damn, I totally get how difficult it is to write something you can be happy with but I hope your work pays off.

Yeah, it's more or less been taunting me since summer of 2011. Every time I got to a place where I was kind of happy with what I had written, I would stop for a few months, and the next time I read over it I would just detest every word I saw. Ugh. :twilightangry2:

4595642 yeah, it sucks when that happens, but in a way it's a good thing since you really have to over what you've written with a fine comb until you think you can work with it and people will like it and from what I've seen so far, I think it's pretty good.

One thing I would say though, make sure that two character aren't speaking in the same paragraph, I noticed a lot of that in the previous chapter, really easy to fix though.

Yeah, I've had problems with formatting dialogue for as long as I've been writing. it's getting better all the ti-i-ime
