Fun story. I understand the concept; the related "theory of the Monkeysphere" states that you can only be emotionally invested in fifty other people. As with all statistical sciences, there's some sense in the idea, but it's not a hard line; there will always be statistical outliers. Some people lack the emotional energy to have more than a handful of friends. Pinkie has enough for any number.
