This card game made me feel violated. Trying to imagine being trapped in a card like Cheerilee during a game was even worse. I love it, I hate it, and I can't resist writing a fic about it.

Oh and while you're at it, go write your own wonderfully insane fics for this contest. Everyone knows that such a heinous crime as creating a game like that can only be punished with bad fanfics.

I enjoyed the fic for the most part. It was well thought out and pretty funny, but the dark ending felt very jarring and unnecessary to me as a reader. Other than that, very funny. Especially enjoyed the Discord scene. Priceless.

Considering a lot of themes in the card game, and the card I was basing the fic on, I wasn't sure how else I could end it. Leaving how Cherilee came to be trapped in a card game unexplained when it's the entire premise of the fic would probably not have gone well. And then, since the game is specifically about Twilight's Secret Shipping Folder, I don't think anypony else would know to put her there. Thus, insane Twilight ending.

As far as I know, you download the Vassal engine by itself, then you import the TSSSF cards and mod in. I'm not exactly sure how it works, but Vassal probably has a tutorial of sorts on how to play games. I haven't tried it myself, so if you have more specific questions, I'd ask the team that made the game, not me.

I've never actually played the game, to be honest. Apparently, it's available for Vassal or something, and you can find that on the tumbr for free, but other than that, I know nothing about how to play it online.
