The Last Dragonborn lived a long, adventure filled life. He went out of his way to help everyone he could and do what he felt was right. He took brokered peace between the Empire and Stormcloaks, forged dragonbone armor and weapons, killed Alduin, stopped the plans of the vampire Clan Volkihar. He became Harbinger of the Companions, Arch-Mage of the College of Winterhold, became a Nightingale of Nocturnal and Listener of The Dark Brotherhood. And on the Summit of Apocrypha, he crossed blades with the First Dragonborn, Miraak. He killed the Ebony Warrior. Now, after many years of adventures, violence and quests, he dies. Not in a battle of epic proportion, as you would expect. But quietly, in Lakeview Manor, with his wife and children. As he approaches the Hall of Valor however, something strange happens.
