Am I expected to make the day happy for him. Why? When he's done nothing for me. Where was he on my birthdays? Where was he when I graduated high-school? Where was he when I was being bullied?

Anyway, this was an awesome read, especially the ending brought tears to my eyes. There were some issues with uppercase letters in dialogue tags, but that’s not really important now 
The descriptions were very nice, along with the mixed emotions and doubts of the narrator. Maybe the Author’s Note could have been at the end of the story instead, but I believe I understand why you put it up there. I wish you will find the strength to talk to him one day!
