Hey! Just got done reading your story, and so far I think it's good for a first attempt at the dark genre. The only things I have to pick at is just the very few spelling errors and punctuation errors in the beginning (there were like two combined that I seen). Also, I felt that the pacing was just a tad too quick for a dark story. Usually with dark fics/mystery fics it's better to draw things out for the sake of imagery and to perk the readers imagination.
Overall, I would give it a solid 6/10 but an easily improved score because you have interesting characters and a nice setting to go along with, so the hardest part of a story to figure out is already done!
