4919672 If the wanderer has 2000 rad and that is his "full" power, then try to look at the rad as mana/stamina instead, the more magic he use the less rad he have left, this might also be the cause of using V.A.T.S, I mean that it also drain rad from him

I enjoyed this, but there was one problem I saw that bugged me; his ammo usage. He's a veteran, knows his way around dangerous situations, noted that he had only four shots left, and then took three to take down the stalactite. Even if he hadn't counted down to one and doesn't have a PipBoy HUD, he would not have used his gun of four-or-less shots to spring a bear trap when he is underground with an injured child, no confirmation that the enemies were all gone, and a dog that can apparently find his way around the traps on his own anyway.

Also, after getting out, he

just holstered the weapon instead of bothering to reload it.

You said he had four shots left, which he has used. He couldn't reload it if he wanted to.
