how many caps did he bring with him?
Well, if he's like how I play Fallout, he's walking around with upwards of 90,000 bits worth of caps. This is due to me literally never buying anything. I either steal, scavange, and in New Vegas, make whatever I need. All while I sell everything I don't. By level thirty I usually have enough to buy out several towns worth of stores.
But then again, this guy doesn't have the handy-dandy Pipboy pocket dimension, so 30,000+ bottlecaps would be pretty hard to lug around. so in that case I'd make it around 80, just to stay within the realm of possible saddlebag space.
My bet is basically more than Equestria has.
she doesn't know how wrong she is.
Great chapter! I loved the idea behind the stetson and I'm excited to see where this story goes from here. I hope that Twilight doesn't let on that she was eavesdropping; That probably won't end well.
Suddenly the wanderer decides to buy a house and pays for it with a grand total of 6535 bottle caps out of 4241343 bottle caps.
the next day aj facepalms
Stop putting the first letter of species name such as "pony", "dragon" and "alicorn" when they're not the first words in the phrase. They're all common names, not titles, so the capitalization is unwarranted and wrong. I thought you'd noticed that I corrected this in the snippet you sent me, mate.
If the Wanderer has a Pip-boy , lets have him have a maxed out amount of bottle caps, and if not then lets have him have maybe 1-2k give or take several hundred caps. That should keep him living quite comfortably, especially if he somehow knows how to utilize electrolysis.
If she just takes those Bottle Caps she's not exactly being very honest considering they both thought they were worthless, which caused him to leave them there, and now that she know's that their worth about 30 Bits each,
Love your story and I need... MOAR!!!
4624537 He has 100 stim packs in his bag as well as every bullet he ever encountered. I think his handy dandy vault pockets are doing fine.

Alright then, sorry.
4624620 I hoard everything, I have trouble deciding what to sell. Seriously, I have a room full of rake's, Garden Gnome's, and anything else that's hard to come by in the Wasteland. I have to have at least one of every miscellaneous item, weapon, and armour (Fully repaired weapons and armour) so I can wear anything whenever I want whenever I want... and... My fridge miiiight, possibly, be filled with Teddy Bear's...... Don't Tell Wadsworth...
Was, is what I think you ment
AJ couldn't be more wrong...
I'll take a guess!
So by last part of Fallout you'd usually have all the weapons you want, ammo can be scavenged easily if you don't keep a reserve and after med supplies I'd guess...a ballpark of 600?
I have to say, 1000 caps.
.......
He doesn't seem like much of a hoarder.
So...i'd say..Maybe...1000?
..........At the minimum.
If he IS a hoarder......I'd say around 100,000. Since he is noticably more experienced than just the game.
......................
Sooooo....
Tell me, Mr. Wanderer. How does it feel to walk with a purse big enough to buy Blueblood's estate?
4624651 Well then, let him unleash tides of precious metal upon the unsuspecting heads of an entire race from his saddlebags of infinite holding.
Also, it makes me sad that I either forgot, or never saw, that his vault pockets were functional.
My Fallout 3 character lugs around 980,000 Caps
4624997
...
Judging by his barter skill of 98 and the fact of him traveling everywhere killing raiders, and his alcohol addiction. I say he may have somewhere between 100k to 150k in bottle caps.
But I'm spit balling here.
4625072
*waggles eyebrows*
Without using the console I got almost a million caps before, so that'd be my guess
4624997 Holy shit dude. That is a lot. Obviously.
you need to update more
I think it is ( i know many minerals)...
Oh any way i love your story .... have nice day...
Who Else took burkes offer and blew up megaton?
That is a lot of bits for three caps lol. Great story so far and on Fallout 3 including expansions I have somewhere over a million caps too.
Whoever took the offer to blow up Megaton, then you should be ashamed of yourself, you'll die in hell for that or kill by a psycho Pinkamena, still awesome story, makes me want to Play Fallout all over again for old time sakes
Can he has ridiculous amount of caps in his worm hole of a pocket?
take our bets on the ammount? I say a few thousand easily. I always managed to safe a few couple thousand caps in my playthroughs of the game. and it wasn' soo hard.
Keep your damn caps and I'll keep my intact garden gnomes.
I assume the aluminum would be related to Equestria's damn inconsistent technology and not yet perfecting the refining process of aluminum, therefore using it in tableware considered higher quality than that of gold. I suppose "this kind" refers to it's purity?
So far this story is doing a decent job at avoiding the generic "crossover OC in equestria" cliche. Just don't let me catch you trying to ship him in a seemingly perfect romance with one or more ponies, or make him into a near-immortal utter badass who will fix your life in the blink of an eye, as close as this would put this with a normal Fallout game.
This story has potential. Make that into something.
umm... yea uh huh, I pretty much have around a million os so caps however were going at it realistically speaking, so I'd say some where in the field of 24 hundred.
It's a little hard to say since I'm more of an new vegas fan than 3 and the value of caps between the two games is like night and day. For example while a gun costs 30 caps in the capital wasteland you can sell one in the mojave for at least 600. So with the difference It's hard to tell but I guess somewhere around 500 should be reasonable since I don't think that he would carry all of his money around at all times. That's what his house is for right?
4625449 I did take the offer on one of my playthroughs. It wasn't worth it in the end.
1250 caps. Seems like a nice round number, and considering your having the Lone Wanderer be a bit more realistic, it shouldn't be too far off. Nice friendship building with AJ, really sets the mood. It makes me wonder if any other ponies will have a one on one talk with Jason. Not enough Fallout crossovers bring the morality of something into question, so that's a nice addition I hope I see more of. I also would like to see more personal history with the Lone Wanderer. Makes it more unique. But above all else, have fun with this story and write what you want. This is your story, and we're just along for the ride! Keep up the amazing work!
Ima guess around 15000 caps

While I don't keep them in the fridge (why did I never think to put them there?) I do have teddy bears pretty much everywhere else. I started collecting them as a hobby, and I just about flipped my shit when I found the Big Teddy!
4625449
Honestly? The first time I played through, I already had a high enough skill level to disarm the bomb when I came through the gate. I didn't even know that it was an option until I already had hitmen chasing me.
Id say about twenty thousand maybe a few thousand less
let it be the number of likes you have when you post the next chapter.

That's the best Idea I've heard so far! Let the number of upvotes be his funds, because having friends is the best currency around!
4625449
I started a new playthrough called "Molestia," and sent them all to the moon.
BEE-YATCH!
But seriously, I needed a real-life Stimpack because of how much it hurt me to do that.
4625849
Mojave Express.
We ship it.
How ironic a bar of gold could be worth 10000 caps
wasteland survival guide
Something tells me that rarity is going to try and steal his bottle caps.
4626029 The fridge is the last place Wadsworth would look. HE MUST NEVER KNOW!
