This story is a sequel to Sonic: Chaos in Equestria
It's been a month since the events of the last arc and things seem to have become peaceful once more. However, something looms in the shadows that threatens the very existence that Equestria's heroes call home.
As foreign relations with the neighboring territories become strained. A great army slowly gains strength.
Joined by the Sol Zones Guardian and Ruler; Blaze the Cat. Sonic and the Mane 6 are about to embark on a journey that may put their power and friendship to the ultimate test.

First off, thank you. I never considered it all that great, but i'm being proven otherwise. And while I can't speak for others, mine always take a bit longer to put out. Because a lot of effort goes into this. Plus I do other things besides write this.
Also, this isn't short. It's the longest one of this arc and third longest in the series itself.
And to answer the last question. Ol' blue is dressed as a vampire. Rarity even laments on that, since he and Twilight are both dressed as creatures of the night,
