Sunshy is a timid buck, often mistaken for a filly. He's a pegasus with strong similarities to Fluttershy. Everyone seems to think he is her reincarnation, but it seems to be a good thing. Stranded in the Everfree Forest, he finds his special talent is helping animals and healing. He has a strong affinity with the unchanged Manticores. After being named a Dashite by his own people, followed by even more tragedies, he leaves Equestria and finds himself in the land of Zebras. How much will his life change in such a harsh wasteland after the cushy life he has lived?

Nice so far. It look different from other stories, just like Pink Eyes, and it is good. I kinda prefer unusual FoE sidestories, not 'hard-strong-immortal-SOB' as everywhere. Srsly, Little Pip badass as fuck, BJ badass as fuck, everypony badass as fuck! Where's kindness?!

That's sort of what I was going for and it was before I read Pinkeyes. I had thought someone in the wastelands who just wasn't suited for it and was not one to adapt like everypony else. They don't grow into a badass, but they're not stoic. So they have a badass sidekick.

Finally read all chapters. Well, I like it, but now it feels like 'Shy gets everything too easy. I'm not talking about his wounds as much as his 'luck'. He only gets confronted with Mayor, everyone else accepts him too easily and readily. He rarely feels conflicted about his deeds. I think it will be interesting to see him choosing lesser of two evils. Like, spare raider who just raped\killed somepony? He begs for life and has a foal with him, but he does killed another (defenseless) pony. Something like that. Damned if you do, damned if don't. If you wanted to write about " someone in the wastelands who just wasn't suited for it and was not one to adapt like everypony else" then show how 'Shy struggles to be kind in situations like that. And please, no 'and then they all were happy'. Give a BAD result. Break 'Shy a little. Make him reconsider his beliefs, make him feel used because of his kindness and something like that.
Make him really taste cruelty of Wastelands.
You know, making him slave will be awesome. He can make a bond with his 'master', see cruel treatment of others by himself and be nearly raped)) Celestia knows he needs it, Celly and Zen wouldn't be with him forever. But that's just my opinion, ofc.

He will be crushed along this story; he's too innocent for me not to. I'll have to try to make it hard on him without stealing from the other stories too much, so it might flop or it might not, I'm not sure.
Don't worry, though, we will see him destroyed later. He's such a fragile crybaby that it's easy for that to happen; it'll probably seem like something stupid but is really big to him. This story is just warming up. Truthfully, his time as a colt were more like an extra-long prologue than the story. So this is all the sort of introduction, the real meat is coming in soon.
