I am a young ametur author. I love to write and I like mlp fim so before I could stop myself I came up with ideas.

E

The doctor has failed once again to keep one of his companions alive. He and Derpy grieve the loss of a friend as she seeks to comfort him with the only thing she can, her voice

I stink at descriptions. This is a one shot, I have always loved the song Beautiful memories and after re-listening to it while on a Dr whooves binge I thought of this bittersweet scene. Written in under half an hour in the middle of the night, Please leave any ideas on how you think i can improve this.

This is my first attempt at anything sad so feedback on feels is very much appreciated

So many feelz. :fluttercry: But it was SOOO good! :pinkiehappy:

E-excuse me for a minute. *Sits in corner and sobs*

I wish I had a more positive note for the first story of yours I've read, but instead I think I know why this one has so many down-votes.

You've written a story that's very short, and it would have worked beautifully except that it feels like the end of a story that's very long. At this point, if you throw the Doctor and Derpy in a Tardis anyone reading will understand their dynamic. However, after reading this, I have no idea who Tick Tock is, what a Gingercorn is, who 'the people of Xentrax 4' are, or what happened there other than that this Tick Tock guy died.

If this is meant to be a Doctor-Derpy story on its own, you needed to be more vague. The Doctor has many things in his past that can haunt him, so there's no need to pick out an example. If this is meant to be an addition to another story, one that explains who Tick Tock is and what happened to him, then you need to either make a link to that story in the opening artist's comments so people know to read it first, or write the story yourself and have this take place at the end.

I do understand what you are saying however, tick tock is a character from the Dr whooves and assistant audio show, the fans of that show are the target audience and so they would understand. Also the story is meant to revolve around how derpy comforts him rather than what happened before hand, what happened on Xentrax 4 is meant to be left to the imagination.

However I do understand where you are coming from.

4532297 I would mention the show somewhere in the description then. I don't tend to keep up with mlp videos because I have to watch my volume.

8.5/10 on the scale of feels. I didn't cry, but the story had meaning, and hit me hard in the heart. I loved it. 9/10 on the good story scale. I think you could improve it by making it a bit more vague. Maybe even rubbing his face with his hooves, as that's what he always does when he is sad. Great story. I'll go think about my life choices, and my whoovian life.

Scratch the feels scale. 9/10 instead. Still didn't cry though, but the tombstone said everything. The doctor has been forgetting, and running away from pain, and loss his entire life. To finally remember a friend is to commemorate them, and eases the pain. The heroism. I loved it. Good day delightful sir. Have a nice life. Allons-y... allons-y...

I think this story is awesome and I love that you added tick tock

I've never liked tick tock.... but I didn't want him to DIE! (I would prefer him over the doctor or Derpy but... still) I would rather him just find his own timeline and live there

5446528 the feel scale 2/10 sorry... I didn't feel much (I feel like a jerk sry) I still liked it :ajbemused:

I'm sorry, but... I thought this would've been better...

When I read about ur cat my min went straight to my great aunt who passed a few years back...she was sweet and kind and always had candy for us when we saw her as little kids. Such great memories with her and now I won't see her again..at least not until it comes time for me to go and join her. I am truly sorry that your cat died though

BTW nice story (so far) Keep it up
