"Story Contains Spoilers from Superior Spiderman"

Page from Coco's journal:

Things are starting to look up for me. I thought that after my last two assistants betrayed me and tried to steal my designs for the competition that I would have to finish all my work by myself. Thought that I'd never be able to trust another pony in this city. Manehatten is a place of dreams, but it can also be a place of greed. Wish Rarity had told me that.

But now I've found a pony that I can trust...kinda. He can be mean and arrogant, but I can see the kinder side of him that he tries to hide. But why does he try to hide it? Why doesn't he want to be praised for his good deeds. Guess I'll never understand Dr. Otto Octavius.

Otto will be ponified and will still retain the spider powers. I have a reason for this. And yes, this is the SUPERIOR spiderman. Don't give me crap about Parker.

I OWN NOTHING!

huh, didn't know about this Spiderman. (still gonna read it though)

I was never a fan of the Superior run, but i will give it a shot.

Also, Yay Coco is back.

Isn't this version of Spiderman one where Doctor Octopus swapped bodies with Peter? This might be an interesting story, even though I don't know that much about this Spiderman. Though I am curious why you chose this Spiderman instead of the original Peter Parker one. Probably because you can teach the 'good' doctor a better lesson than you could teach Peter.

This is very fun already. Can't wait for more!

human turned pony.... sorry you lost me there

Hopefully Doc Ock can truly redeem himself this time. Plus his cutie mark is highly appropriate.

7446940 You want any info on this one?

Oh this is gonna be good. On a side note I just wanna point something out before this story REALLY picks up. Most writers tend to undervalue Spider-man's awesome powers. He's actually considered by many to be around the top of what is called a "street level" character. His feats put him well above what his bio says (along with every other character. So I figured "hey this guy already wrote gods from Superman to Hulk and managed to showoff their awesome abilities just fine. I'm sure he can do the same for spidey" but just to be sure here's a few respect threads. https://www.reddit.com/r/tuftrt/comments/3cm4p5/respect_peter_parker_the_amazing_spiderman_marvel/

He's actually alot stronger and faster then some people give him credit for. Sure I get that this is Superior spidey but still technically the feats can still count since the body is the same. I mean this is a guy who can easily lift train cars, buses,tanks, private jet and so on. Same thing with his speed. He actually does the "faster then the human eye" can see thing that most anime characters do.....yeah I'm done sounding like a weird fanboy now.

Equestria is about to be tangled in a web of superiority! :pinkiecrazy::rainbowwild:

7447251 Hey good to see you here to man!

this is the SUPERIOR spiderman. Don't give me crap about Parker.

Don't worry, I actually really like the Superior Spiderman. I'll start reading this fic soon.

Why is it that this guy always seems to have the coolest fics? Keep up the amazing work.

Otto already proved that he's capable of being a hero during the Goblin Nation arc. Let's see if being in Equestria will prove him to be a Superior Spider-Man (Beneath Peter Parker of course.)

And I like that idea of Coco reminding him of Anna Maria. I can't wait to see where this is heading.

Wow Otto... Even when shown kindness, you are still such a dick!

Hopefully he can learn a little kindness here. With few exceptions most ponies are friendly and kind.

7452301 Would you have it any other way?:ajsmug:

Sadly I believe Coco is going to learn that just because someone saves the the life of another does not mean that they are a good, sane or stable person. Just look at several Marvel heroes, like Wolverine, Sentry or Punisher (though calling Pnisher a hero might be a stretch). (For more information, look up Good is not Nice and Anti-Hero on TvTropes)

Ock tried playing hero, using methods typically employed by supervillains, and was ruined, once again, by his ego. If he is going to make any progress, he'll have to get over that first.

I See Otto is more wary of unicorns now. He's probably gonna invent some gadget that nullifies them in order to overcompensate like he normally does.

I wonder if Otto is going to redeem himself and make a life of crime fighting out of this.

Man, even when he's in another world, Otto's still a jerk. Let's hope that he changes that attitude (Very slim chance I know, but anything can happen with the so-called Superior Spider--Man)

You had me at Ponified. I'm in!

Spider Ock, Spider Ock does what ever Spider-Man does (reluctantly). So how will Manehatten handle a bona fide, 100% real superpowered pony, who is a bit of a supervillian?

On a side note had Doc Ock ever worked with Dr. Doom? Because I wonder if he would make the comparison between Celestia and Dr. Doom.

Ok now I'm looking forward to Doc Ock.

The Superior Spider-Man is back! Seems Otto's true sense of justice never left when he erased himself. Parker's memories really are starting to affect his mind, even when far apart.

Call him the Superior Spider-MANE! How's that for insufferable puns, Otto?!

Is it wrong that I imagine this Otto with the voice of his 1994 interpretation?
Speaking of which, anyone else want to see this?(Top row, 2nd from the left)

So if he's in a new pony body....is it a pony version of Peter's body or his? Considering he still has the powers but has a different cutie mark.

So ol'Peter, is going to still try and show Doc Ock the way. I do feel sorry for Doc Ock he is going to be in hell for quite a bit until he adjusts to Equestria, if he survives it.

Hmm. Well, you've not let me down yet. Yeah, I'ma gonna read this.

oh... OH.... They didn't quite separate all the way, did they?

I can ship Otto and Coco.:rainbowkiss::heart:

"Wait, one last question!" Bubble screamed as she practically hurled herself onto Spiderman to keep him from getting away. "With your strength, speed and ability to shoot web, you've shown that you're far superior to any force that Celestia has sent to stop these things. Please, can you tell us who you are?"
For a moment Spiderman considered saying no, considered simply swinging away and not giving them a response. But as he gazed across the crowd from behind his masked eyes, he knew that they had to know who he was. And how weak he actually was.
"I am a failure. Nothing more and nothing less."

When papers name you Spider-Mane... you better realize you have no one to blame but yourself.

But in dodging the pincer, Otto realized with cold dread that he had put himself into free fall. He glanced down to see that there was nothing for him to grab onto and that while a fall from the height he was at may not kill him, but it would hurt considerably. His last chance was the webshooters, but when he aimed them towards the nearest building he found that they wouldn't fire.

"Damn these inventions, how am I supposed to use them if I don't have fingers?!" he roared to the heavens as the cement got closer and closer.

Not really. He would be just fine. http://comicvine.gamespot.com/spider-man/4005-1443/forums/a-few-questions-about-spidermans-physical-strength-679055/ Considering how strong his muscles are and how high he can jump, logically he should be able to handle any fall (including terminal velocity) with not much of a problem.

the typical speed of a parachute descent is 25mph. typically one "flares" at the end to slow it down, but in most cases one can survive with a sprained ankle if they don't. those same individuals say sprint at 20 mph(low ball). so, they can take an impact feet first at 25% more than the rate that they can generate force/speed(with their legs). extrapolating the same proportions(ignoring running drag, that's another topic) Spidey should be able to take falls at about 25% over the speed he can run, which is at least 100 mph. SO, he can take falls from over 120-130 mph...that's terminal velocity for a falling body! spidey could then fall out of a plane a 10,000 feet up, and just lay flat in the descent, and land in a deep knee bend!...it would feel like the equivalent of you or i falling from a five feet structure. its gonna hurt at first, but if aint gonna kill ya...! And according to his speed feats, he is possibly much faster than that, so he could withstand a shock at speed faster than the terminal velocity.

"Wait, one last question!" Bubble screamed as she practically hurled herself onto Spiderman to keep him from getting away. "With your strength, speed and ability to shoot web, you've shown that you're far superior to any force that Celestia has sent to stop these things. Please, can you tell us who you are?"

"I am a failure. Nothing more and nothing less."

Wow. Just...wow. Otto actually DID develop from the experience. Good for him. Still I bet your gonna use Sombra as the main villain in this story am I right? Considering Sombra is basically the evil that Otto used to be like.

Poor Otto. Even after he saved Manehattan, he still considers himself a failure... He really is changing for the better. Even if all he sees himself is as a reflection of Parker and not himself. I'm rooting for the doc.

And something tells me that Ryan/The Silver Mare brought him here and helped him with his webshooters.

7456439 Indeed, and we all know how difficult it is to get rid of that don't we? :eeyup:

Also loved the spider line break:

\\ ( ) //
// ; ; \\

Very creative. :coolphoto:

A lesser man would have been slain by the sheer absurdity and stupidity of the pun, yet with all of his mental fortitude Otto managed to prevent his soul from departing to the next life.

:rainbowlaugh::rainbowlaugh::rainbowlaugh:

The weight grew heavier upon his heart, but Otto ignored it as he glared at the glass once more. 'Even on another world, even in my death, you will never stop hounding me, will you?'

Of course not! It's Parker after all! Such a small thing like being a figment of the good Dr.'s imagination will not be enough to stop him. :derpytongue2:

'Use the force-I mean your mind! You're always bragging about how great it is.'

:rainbowlaugh::trollestia::derpytongue2:
Now I'm thinking Discord may have had a hand in him being send to Equestria.

"Unleash every last ounce of lightning that you have within those clouds or I'll feed you to the monster myself!" Not wanting to test the patience of a psycho in spandex, the pegasi all began to kick the clouds with as much power as they could.

Smart pony... :eeyup::trollestia:

7467504 I think it was Ryan saying that to the Doc. It seems like something Ryan would say, plus he'd know about the Force, having been from Earth. I doubt Discord would know about it.

Those sewing machines better not be a trap...

7469269 That's what I'm thinking it is

Otto and Coco better be careful (That Spider-Sense can be a little tricky to pinpoint). And it seems that it was seemingly the Silver Mare/Ryan who called out to Ock.

Imagine a dress made from spider silk? Now THAT would be awesome!

Please do not kill the mane 6 that would be far too dark. Hopefully Doc Ock whoops this monstrosity so the villain will begin to understand that they have a very dangerous foe on their hands.

High Evolutionary?

Hm... Now the big bad himself caught interest in the Spider. I wonder if he plans to experiment on a pony later on since he expressed interest now. Can he even do it?
