This side-story takes place in-between "Apple Scratch: Onward to the Equestria Games", which is from the series, "Apple Scratch", created by Mariacheat-Brony.

At the start of the Equestria Games in Ponyville, Roseluck, one of the hometown's athletes, suffered a humilating defeat during her very first race at the 100-Meter Hurdle Qualification Rounds. Not only did she literally slipped up out there, but because of her fall, it cost the race to Fleetfoot as well. Despite their initial defeats, the two competitors became fast friends over the course of the Games. However, as they spent more time together, their growing bond brought forth new feelings for each other. Will Roseluck manage to make their relationship blossom into full bloom, or will Fleetfoot's chilling secret catch up to her and wither it away?

Still as good as I remember it to be :raritywink::twilightsmile:

I'll admit, I never thought about this ship, probably because I was more focused on AJ, Vinyl, and CK. However, seeing how Roseluck is one of my favorite characters...I like it. I await another update.

not bad. it doesn't have the same feel as the original series of stories, but i'm just being picky at that point.

What! Two chapters and they're not making out? Unbelievable! Ha, just kidding of course. I actually like the build-up. These awesome chapters full of awesomeness are awesome. Keep putting these chapters out ASAP! (Please?)

I am overall impressed with how this is played out, if I hadn't noticed your name under the title, I would have thought it was written by Mariacheat, so awesome work!

I haven't actually read the applescratch story, but I'm still reading this and I absolutely love it :rainbowkiss: hooray for Fleetfoot kicking Lightning's butt :yay:

Hmm, I like this chapter. I was ready to start hating you if you portrayed Trixie as some kind of cheating, egotistical, sore loser, because I'm a huge fan of The Lunaverse. So I was pleasantly surprised when you made her out to be not only a fair player, but also gave her a nice-ish personality. For that, I thank you.

4739857 Thank you for your comment, but you should also thank Mariacheat-Brony, the original creator of the Apple Scratch series, in which Trixie is featured in a couple of chapters from the third story, "Onward to the Equestria Games." Besides, it was a lot of fun to write out her magical capabilities in this chapter.

Plus, when it comes to Trixie, I don't often see her as a villainous character compared to other fanfic portrayals for Lightning Dust, Gilda, or Sunset Shimmer. I see Trixie as redeemable character. On who made mistakes but in time will make up for them through a life-changing event or so forth.

I've read all the chapters and I'm LOVING IT:pinkiehappy: :pinkiehappy: :pinkiehappy: :pinkiehappy: :pinkiehappy:
Have a fave and a like :moustache:

Hmm. I like this chapter. It was pretty hard not to skip to the end to see who won, but I stuck through it. That being said, I call shenanigans. It said that Fleetfoot and Rose dived through the goal. It implies that had Fleetfoot not caught Rose, she wouldn't have gone through the goal in any intentional form, rather she would have just flown through the goal, which would more possibly count as a failed block attempt. However, Fleetfoot basically snatched an opponent who had the ball and carried them through the goal, which I personally feel should be against the rules. However that might just be me. I'll have to go check the blitz-ball guide that MC-brony posted. Also, one point win cliche.

4754532 Yeah... I can understand your point in the climax of this chapter. With all of the chapters I've written beforehand, I would always share them with Mariacheat-Brony. As of now, he didn't have any objections to how I ended it. Plus, he approved my decision on having Canterlot beat Ponyville for a change.

4754550 I'm surprised that he let Canterlot beat Ponyville, mainly because his characters are all massively OP. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

4754571 Actually... that was my decision to call. :twilightsheepish:

When Mariacheat-Brony asked me if I would take care of the Blitz-ball Finals with Ponyville vs. Canterlot, he wanted me to decide on who the victors were. Plus, this is one of the best opportunities for me to showcase Roseluck & Fleetfoot's athleticisms when they are competing against each other.

4754668 Well then, I trust your judgement. Now, if we're done with the games, can we get to the sappy romance stuff?

4754735 Soon enough. At least until Chapter 11 where the main plot of the story gets into the swing of things.

With a simple flick of her wrist, her fingers conjured up a very small, wispy tornado before it gently glided toward Roseluck’s soup. Stationed above the orange-colored soup, the miniature cyclone carefully swirled around the liquid surface to provide cool air to its substance without letting it spill over the table. Once its work was done, the tiny twister disappeared as the carrot curry soup emitted less steam than before.

AVATAR!!!! :pinkiehappy: :pinkiehappy: :pinkiehappy: :pinkiehappy: :pinkiehappy:

omg can u plz tell us the story of sunny and fleetfoot also plzzzzzzz plzzz plzzzz make roseluck and fletfoot get together i da end i ship this like mucho :heart::heart::heart::heart::heart::heart::heart::heart::heart::heart::heart::heart::heart::heart::heart::heart::heart:

4766294 You'll hear the backstory behind Fleetfoot & Sunny Day in one of the final chapters, but it wouldn't go through as much detail as a seperate story/chapter itself.

WHY DOES THIS HAVE 8 DISLIKES?! IT'S F*:yay:*ING AMAZING!!!! :twilightangry2:
*ahem* please continue doing a splendid job :moustache:

Aww so cute! I really like this side story you're writing.

4770165 My guess is that they were expecting another Ford Mustang story. :ajbemused:

RD

Hmm. Maybe Roseyfleet?

Daawwww! Love the ending! :raritystarry: Good story.

NO! WHY DO THIS!?!? WHY!?!?!?!?!?!?!?¡¿¡¿!?¡¿!?¡¿!?

Of all the amazing things in this chapter, the one that stands out for me is the Author's Notes. That was extremely emotional. But seriously, calm down, take a chill pill but try not to choke on it.

4784474 Actually, I was pretty much quoting off of Egoraptor's Sequelitis on Mega Man X.

Thought some of the readers might get the gist of the joke. :twilightsheepish:

...

Maybe I should edit that in later. :facehoof:

Now that it is complete I'm going do a full read through looking like a start to a great weekend.

love it vut can u make an story about their wedding
:pinkiesad2::pinkiesad2::pinkiesad2::pinkiesad2::pinkiesad2::pinkiesad2::pinkiesad2::pinkiesad2:

Despite the lack of popularity this story currently has it has to be one of my newfound favorites. :moustache::heart:
Also a little more emotion would have been nice. I like the jucy emotional nonsense blah blah blah.:pinkiecrazy:

I've reread this fic about five times now, it's just too good :pinkiehappy: I don't know why it's not in the feature box or popular list :twilightangry2:

I'll be honest, I didn't like this the first time I read this, but now...ITSBUCKINGAMAZING

I gotta say, this has just been sitting in my read later list (much like a lot of stories... perhaps I should get to work on those...) and this is very well done. Much like the rest of the Apple Scratch verse, it was well written and very good flow. Good work with it! :pinkiehappy: Also very glad to hear that Mariacheat-brony said it was cannon, makes it all the more sweet.

Gotta ask... is this a How to Train Your Dragon scene? Like between Astrid and Hiccup? But for Spitfire and Soarin'?

Satisfied, she gently ended their kiss and added in a flustered manner, “That was for… well you know… everything.”

:trixieshiftright:

5047390 Thank you very much. Though I have to admit, it didn't gather as much of a following as I hoped it would. :ajsleepy:

5048252 To be honestly, I wasn't thinking of refering any scenes from movies, video games, etc. I was just writing some dialogue that would make Spitfire unusually bashful. But know that you mentioned it, I do recall that line.

Huh... wierd. :rainbowhuh:

5049219 It could be the pairing. There's not too many Fleetfoot and Roseluck (yeah, those mixed names don't seem right...) stories anyways. But it's still really good.:pinkiehappy:

5049224 And it's even the same kind of 'I'm tough but I'm going to kiss you' kind of scene. Guess it was a subconscious thing then.
