In regards to your A/N, I completely agree. I always enjoy it so much more when the clop actually has some kind of emotional connection between the characters. That it's more than just for the sex, but actually for emotional bonding, the way those in love would share it.
So, I approve! I'd rather it take a while to get to the good stuff if it's meant to have emotional substance.
This was a good chapter, it's definitely getting interesting. Especially with the angle in that Blitz actually knows how Butterscotch feels, but naturally can't quite do much about it. It's really sweet that he's still there for him and still his best friend, just not letting it affect their friendship.
Hmm... Blitz follows my exact thoughts on homosexuality.
The fic isn't even finished and it gets five yays out of five.
Despite the lack of clop, I think this was a great chapter. Clopfics these days (well, fics in general, really) seem to have a hard time taking time to form an emotional connection between characters. I applaud you for going the extra mile for your readers.

I just wanted to say, thank you all for the support so far (Especially those tagged). I don't think I've ever had so much praise, encouragement, and just all around great comments on a fic in my entire history here on the site. This story hasn't been featured...yet...but comments like the ones you've been making, really, really inspire me to continue writing it. I don't think I'd have near as much drive to finish this thing as I do right now if it weren't for you. Heck, there's not even one bad/mean comment on the fic. That's really rare..and sort of odd if you ask me.
Nice work so far.
Now I'm really interested to see where things go with Blitze, or at least how he reacts to this new development.

I have to say, the way you're writing this story is keeping me so drawn in, I can't bring myself to stop reading it. I'm enjoying the pace of things and I can only imagine how good the ending will be once it hits that point.
