i skimmed through the original when i saw this so i knew exactly how twi had gotten dash pregnant (Celestia know i've read fics where it was an infusion of magic or something like that) and while i didn't enjoy the clop, it did give the insight as to how this happened.
I really like this, though i have a feeling twi's gonna have to wait until twilight again to change back. Jeez, a whole day as a stallion. how's he/she gonna work with that?
i look forward to watching as Twilight and Dash raise their child (I'm gonna guess an alicorn filly or colt), like caring mothers/mother and father will. i know twi will change back to a mare, but she'll still be the dad, technically, since she supplied the sperm half of the baby.
I looked forward to when the next chapter comes out. you're a damn good writer, for somehow making me read through a clop so i can understand the sequel so i can see twi and dash with their foal.

The previous story was just a simple open-ended one-shot that I did as a little venture into clop that also made everyone wonder if Sparkle got Dashie pregnant. Since I'm bad at it that I had no intention of no real continuing until it kept popping up in the popular story box and getting please continue comments.
That was the one-night stand, this is the fallout. This site is littered with continuations like that.

That implies that there is something wrong with the whole idea, which there isn't. It's the whole premise behind mini-series and one time specials spawning their own TV series series if enough people like them.
The very last line in the story was supposed to make people go "wait, did Twilight just get Dash pregnant?" and stop there and leave it open, hence why it was a stand alone fic. It was meant to leave people asking a question, and that's it.
Then it just kept popping up in the popular stories box until I went "FINE I'll write a sequel to answer the question!" Put some effort into something, came up with a plot premise, made a basic outline, figured out what I was going to call the foal along with its species, what problems Equestria would have with Twilight getting Dash pregnant, and all the other stuff that goes into making a full story with closure in it instead of an open ended fic that leaves people wondering.

You see, in the "prequel", twilight and rainbow fall asleep together. In this "story", they wake up together. It's the exact same timeline, and there is nothing different about this story than the previous. There's absolutely nothing separate about it, save for the fact that they are in different stories.
You see, this is where you're wrong. This story literally just starts off from the "prequel." It is 100% related to the plotline of the first, and it contains every single element in it.

I apologize for punishing your good work with a favorite but I have some ideas. At dusk, we should totally have twilight switch back to a mare and have them go at it. Also, it is possible to have twilight act as a surrogate mother if she were to magically transfer the child into herself.
