Aren't Ugs some type of shoe or something?
I thought that said pudding when I first read it.... Did you mean for it to be 'puddit' instead of 'put it'?
Noby twings on this. tyhey didn't try further negotiation. Heck even 50/50 split The family could still come out where they want because they would have more people paying. More people more income thus they can handle the split.
And please chose the colors more carefully some you just can't read.
4837127 The colors were meant to match the speaker's coat or mane color, and even if they had taken the 50/50 deal the Apples would likely not have gotten the funds they needed, and they would also have been selling out their beliefs and traditions
4836753 Taken care of, and yes, the "puddit" was intentional, everypony butchers the language once in a while LOL
4837287 I can understand why you do the colors but some just can't be seen on here.
and How did it break tradition. intially both had the same quality of cider. it only got bad in the end when they sped up production. and considering the line we saw i think they would have enough in the split. But a 40/60 could work to.

It seems like a lot of the Mane 6's, well, Mane 9's in this case, general issues are either caused or made worse by Pinkie...
Actually, people did the math. Even at 75/25 percent profits, the Apples would have been making more money or at least enough to match their usual. So anything more would have done more so.
Still, the brothers aren't the sort of people you'd want to do any business with. Even if they wouldn't have double crossed the apples, because solely for profits.
I always forget thats literally the best friendship report ever
I was afraid that Midnight going to kill Flim and Flam brothers too...
You know, this might just end up as bad as the time Ian lost control and only killed a few dozen people. Or maybe not. Maybe it might be as bad as that one time Ian lost control and only killed one person while almost fully draining twenty others. Those 20 were left as permanent vegetables, but they were still live perma-veggies not dead perma-veggies.
I know I might not get an answer from any Pony but the Apple family especially the main branch is well- known around Equestria and the show I think you said it's somewhere around 70 to 20% of all equestrian Apple sold are from the Apple family so I never understood in the actual episode not just too, cuz if you add in the fic how much she got for the recipes that's a pretty bit how is it that cider season is the only thing keeping them up in the winter cuz they should have a lot more money than they say they have even with expenses

Running a Farm is expensive, VERY expensive. Even without machines and oils, it still takes money for all the tools and resources to keep the trees healthy over a MASSIVE farm, which I believe is bigger than the town itself, which is a lot of land and trees to take care of and resources to keep them clean and healthy. There is money spent on owning the land. Taxes. Repairs needed to the house and barn, on top of tools. They also have animals, so need to pay for cleaning, sheltering, feeding, and watering them too. Pay for any time someone is sick, or worse when the animals are sick. AND... They ONLY Sell Apples. Not apple pies. Not apple fritters. ONLY Apples. Except for the very rare Zap Apple Jam, and in the fall Apple Cider.
During Winter, there are no more apples. So in Fall, they harvest everything they have left, turn it into Apple Cider, and sell it off. And that money, has to last the ENTIRE Winter. And while the pay for resources for the trees might be cut down, they still have to cover EVERYTHING else, with NO SOURCE OF INCOME. What they have, is ALL that they have to work with.
As for having more money. We have no idea how much they make, nor how much things cost. Since in the show, everyone always has enough to everything, and things like economy, bills, and money is never brought up. But realistically based on reality, owning a farm is very expensive to run.
------------------------
There are things wrong in this episode, but that's not it. No, what's wrong is that A, Flim and Flam literally have no power to drive the apples out of business, and have no way to steal ownership of their lands forcefully. What's more, they should have been charged for all the applies they steal, and pay MASSIVE Damaged at the end when they literally destroyed entire TREES.
Here's a little Law less for you. When you Sue for Damages, it's not just right now Damages, but also FUTURE Damages. Take a single Apple Tree. How long will it take to grow to Maturity and able to produce loots of apples? Lets say... 3 years from Google searching. Now how many Apples does a tree produce in a single year? And how much is 1 apple worth? We see AJ bucking apples pretty much all year long, we have to assume the trees keep regrowing new apples every few days/weeks. And each tree produces like 50+ apples each time. Enough to fill a big bucket.
Lets say 50 apples per growing, and they grow once a month. Since they don't grow in the 4 months of Winter, lets say it's 8 months of growing. 8x50=400 1 tree is worth 400 apples per year. And it will take a tree 3 years to grow, so that 1,200 apples total. Now find out how much each apple is worth.
Aha, doing some google searching, from the FIM Wiki and listing when bits are mentioned, it says:
Doing a bit of calculation, 1,200x7=8,400 Bits.
So, realistically, Flim and Flam would have to pay the apple family $8,400 Bits for EACH Tree their machine had destroyed. And let me tell you, they ended up destroying a LOT of them.
I also hate that while Granny did agree to let them use the apples, it was 100% one sided, and they both never paid for those apples, NOR did the apples get a cut or full price of any Cider they were going to sell. That's a big fucking No No for me.
No word of encouragement for our hero, Twilight? Then again, he hasn’t been spending as much time with you as of late… step up, MC. You don’t want to become too distant.
