Oh Faust! Trixie! DOn't you dare give in!
5037136 She's going to give in.
5037171 I need to have faith that Trixie will resist
5037136 sometimes the victim has no choice... sadly enough...
5037222 Basically you're right 5037188 Remember The episode Magic Duel, She had no resistance to the alicorn amulet because it completely controlled her.
Wow! Midnight that's impressive. Talk about quality over quantity!
5037222 I know, But Trixie was on the right path before this, which is why i believe the amulet will have a harder time.
5037252 In the original Magical Duel, Trixie harbored resentment for Twilight and that would accelerate the corruption. THis trixie is humble and on the path to good, which is why i think the amulet will have a harder time with her and that Trixie will resist.

5037282
I definitely think that the alicorn Amulet will be doing a clash of wills when it comes right down to it, I like this trixie, she's nice... Not like the other Trixie who was just an arrogant during all of her screen time
Well we will know any action she takes against them will be solely because of the amulet not her.
5037299 Eh? Okay, nothing to do with what I said, at all.
5037284 Does anypony know why Trixie doesn't trust wheels?
5037350 I couldn't really say.
5037350
5037282
5037284 Yor right - Because Trixie is humble and a much better pony than before, the amulet would have a harder time corrupting her and she'd put up a fight...
But the Hooded Unicorn threw in something else to that mix (cue diabolical laughter and thunder & lightning)
5037381 Is there going to be an Equestria Girls Chapter?
5037395 Curse you diabolical Hooded Unicorn!
This will get ugly quick.
5037399 NO.
5037350 Because why not? People can have the most completely random phobias ever... I'm a D&D player and so I converse with other people who create interesting characters and take the time to develop them.
One of my friends told me about a game he was playing in and one of the characters was a brave and noble paladin who had the MOST irrational fear of Invertebrates that you would ever hear about.
This paladin who would stand defiant even in the face of a dragon, would cower like a little B[] if he so much as SAW an earthworm.
irrational fears need no sense to work... they just have to be funny.
5037839 I have a fear of balls.
5037446 Ok Sorry.
5037891 exactly.
5037899 But its only a certain type of ball.
5037446 actually i think itd be funny. send blaze in he steals the crown and pops own whilst punching sentry in the face and "accidentally" breaking his wing. cos sentry is a bitch that is just like shinning armor except less tolerable and needs to be stabbed.
"Kind of silly to force a pony to wear something that only the pony wearing it can remove..."
"Now if only I could figure out how to get rid of the foal-proof lock you put on it..."
5038262 Now now... there's no need to be violent about it. The timeline is already shifting away from it's original course in some areas. If Midnight Blaze doesn't want to deal with humanized ponies, Sunset Shimmer, or Flash Sentry, then all that really needs to happen is...
Nothing at all.
Sunset SHimmer either never made it to the human world or never made it back from there.
Flash Sentry either wasn't posted as one of the Crystal Guard, he wasn't on duty during Twilight's visit, or Shining Armor caught him staring at his little sister (you think an over protective friend like Midnight Blaze is bad, consider how much worse an over protective older brother who also happens to be your superior officer would be).
The mirror either wasn't active during Twilight's visit, or Celestia never had it transferred to the Crystal Palace.
Sunset managed to get herself suspended from highschool, arrested and sent to Juvie Hall, or hit by a pony-less carriage...
A car wrecked into the statue in front of Canterlot High, and now the mirror doesn't work at all (or leads somewhere else) stranding Sunset Shimmer in the human world.
Or Midnight Blaze simply skips over the whole thing without any mention of whether or not any of it happened, or flat out stating that none of it happened.
The possibilities are endless!
No they aren't! They ended right there!
That's not what I meant...
At least trixie is nicer
But I still hate her show off personality
5038916 Currently, Equestria Girls and its sequel are semi-cannon at best, as when asked about the subject on separate occasions, the show staff has given different answers ranging the full spectrum of yes, no, and optional.
I do know that EQG is supposed to happen (if it happened at all) either between seasons 3 & 4, or very early on in season four, as Twilight hasn't learned how to use her new wings yet.
One thing that it is not (despite some analysts observations), is an accurate gauge of the age of the Mane Six (or any other pony in Equestria for that matter). There are at least three evidence points against this being the case:
Exibit A:
Sunset Shimmer was Celestia's previous personal student, who went missing prior to Twilight Sparkle even getting her Cutie Mark, and has apparently only been in the mirror world for about a year from the perspective of the local students. Long enough to disrupt the friendships that apparently already existed, but not so long that she was able to disrupt them before their first years in high school as her method of doing so was by causing the high school social cliques to galvanize.
Point 2:
Snips and Snails human counterparts are depicted as being the same age group as Sunset Shimmer and the Mane Six, when Diamond Tiara and the CMC are depicted as being at least a grade or two younger.
The Cake is a Lie:
Principle Celestia and Vice Principle Luna. 'Nuff said.
So the world on the other side of the mirror is most likely a pocket dimension rather than a fully realized world. Like the Mirror Pool, it is a distorted reflection of Equestria at best. One filled with Candy Colored Humans, where diamond dogs translate as brutish humans but dragons are apparently represented as dogs. And one where Sunset Shimmer only spent one year trapped in during the time it took for Twilight Sparkle to go from being a blank-flank young filly to being an Alicorn Princess. And yet during the two or three days Twilight spent there, apparently less than an hour had passed on the Equestrian side as the whole group was till there waiting for her return. So the time differential isn't even consistent.
Flash Sentry is canon though. He is apparently one of the Crystal Guard, but is not a Crystal Pony, so he is most likely either a liaison officer from the EUP, or was flat-out transferred. He has shown up in a few season 4 episodes in non-speaking background roles where he generally makes eyes at Twilight Sparkle and she responds by either making eyes back or apparently failing to notice that he even exists. This, however, actually has no bearing on whether or not EQG is canon.
So, in conclusion, Equestria Girls is frosting! Creamy, creamy frosting...
5039555 I keep forgetting, cartoons are like Pinkie Pie - They don't have to make sense.
For, in the words of Discord, "What fun is there in making sense...?"
5039566 Hehe...
Anyway, the net result is: If you don't want to have Equestria Girls as part of MLP: The Sory Retold, there is nothing in the show itself saying you have to bother with it if you don't want to.
5037282
5039577 Well, I'm still in consideration of adding Sunset Shimmer into the story but instead of getting herself and the crown through the mirror she gets caught and brought before her old mentor Celestia to face punishment of sorts. Someone suggested I have Sunset go through what Twilight did to learn the magic of Friendship. but I'd rather not deal with Sunset on a frequent basis (after all, she did become a demon and had intended to use a mind-controlled army of teenagers to conquer Equestria)
I'm not saying I hate Sunset, i just see her as a less-than-likable knockoff of Twilight. I mean sure, she changed her ways an' all, but I'm just not appealed to her
I do want to add Flash Sentry to the story however but there are complications in that due to a myriad of situations that are in canon and for what I have planned
I'm a little confused, is the hooded pony a good or a bad guy? Because some of his action tend to be contractual.
5433925 actually, think of him as a time traveler, or maybe interdimensional being who's my little pony show is this story, and like midnight at the beginning, he is just trying to make it play out the way he saw it, at least that's what I think is going on, so in the long run, I believe he is good.
5037188
Trixie doesn't have enough DT for that.

“Knockoff of Twilight.” The abridged series, UFP, really hits that joke hard by calling several ponies different versions of Twilight:
Sunset = Orange Twilight,
Trixie = Blue Twilight,
Starlight = Twilight Sparkle,
Twilight = Purple Twilight
There are a few others. Lol
