I spotted this fic just sitting in the new stories area and couldn't help but stop by and take a read and I'm glad I did. This was a rather touching story and a part of Scootaloo's life that never has any answers. I really enjoyed this

Liked the story; however, I did notice something odd. When Tailspin is telling Dashie about his past, he questions if Dash was old enough to remember the incident in which he got hurt. He also indicates that Scootaloo was born by this time. Just what is the age difference between Scoots and Dash in this fic? To me, they don't seem close enough in age to think that the older one might not remember an event due to her age at the time. Just curious.

okay, let's go over this:
1)As important as flight is to pegasi, comprehensive coverage should almost be a given in the weather bureau. Provisions for grievous injury, especially injuries that can be treated and repaired, would be a necessity of life, not a bonus privilege. Failing that, how hard would it be for RD to pass the hat around? The next chapter should be Rainbow Dash stumping to create an emergency fund for this sort of thing.
2)wiping condensation out of clouds. Do they sweep the dirt floors in Ponyville, too?
4386371 It was more the name, really (and that his colors reminded me at Scarlet from Starlight Over Detrot). He switches between top and bottom, thus his tail switches between lifted and not - thus "Tailspin".
