After an accident with one of Twilight's machines, Spike turns into a teenage dragoness. Now known as Barb, she has to live life as a female until Twilight figures out how to reverse it. Barb ends up getting new feelings as a dragoness, and has a familiar red dragon, and a certain Pegasus guard end up falling in love with her. Barb has no idea what to do, and only hopes a spell comes soon to turn her back into a drake.

well this is a classic.
you have a good, somewhat original idea that executed well.
but dear god the grammer and spelling, its far from the worst i've ever seen but still, get a editer or invest a little more time in it yourself, (you did say this wouldn't be the best chapter and i'm counting on that)
so with that said, im going to like and favorite this out of faith and i hope it will encourage you to write more.(and to do somthing about the editing)
im not saying your a bad writer, heck i've written several fanfics and my grammer barley passes grade school level.

Well, a little confused really. Why does her claws dull in one sentence, and then sharpen in another. And if being naked is suddenly a problem, you might have mentioned what Spike was wearing when he went into the basement, or what happened to said clothing (What, did she burst out of them hulk-style, burned up, disintegrated or what?) The concept is interesting, so I hope you edit a little more to this chapter before you go on with the next.

Well, those two have been like brother and sister in the show, and have refered to each other as such on at least one occasion, so it's not too surprising.
Garble....I've seen that name in other stories....must've missed the episode he was in.
This feels so....unfinished. Will Twilight find a way to turn Barb back? Will Barb want to be turned back? Will the Blossom sisters come after Barb about the door anyway? Will Garble still be able to form a coherent thought after his 'talk' with Barb? Stay tuned!
I'm somewhat surprised by how much the magic seems to have affected him mentally. Either that, or it's the fact that simply having a female body means he's of course automatically female mentally, too. I would've thought of him more as a transgendered character at this point in the story.
